Dallas is a favorite of mine - an almost perfect balance firepower, speed, maneuverability, and utility...just don't get hit 😅 Holding a flank in what is largely support cruiser and dd chaser is really something though.
It's my understanding that what is called "Dallas" in wowsl was basically one of several designs for a downscaled light cruiser to fill in the displacement left over after the US Navy ordered their Brooklyn-class cruisers according to the Washington (and/or London, not quite sure) Naval Treaty that never materialized. There was a USS Dallas, not named for the city but for Alexander Dallas, during WWII but it was a little Clemson-class destroyer. She served in the Atlantic doing a lot of convoy escorts, survived the war and was scrapped just after in 1946 mostly because of her age, 26 years old at the time.
The Dallas is a good boat you played it well good job I love your content thank you
I like the fact that you didn't go with a choice or selected game. You just went with what you got, sight unseen. Great game nonetheless
Ty 🙃
Good job 👍
Thanks 👍

Dallas is almost identical to Cleveland at two tiers lower. It’s crazy.
Indeed lol
