I was 9 when i first saw this. My mum survived a bad case of cancer. My dad took us on such an amazing trip and treated my sister and I with a visit to Disneyland. We didnt speak any english so we had no idea that a show like this is being displayed at the lake. As we walked out of the haunted mansion fantasmic was being performed. I will never forget the situation. This was the first time in over 18 months that i could enjoy something without worrying about cancer and death. Purely magical.

Genius of the composer to add a reprise of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" to the "some imagination, huh?" line. Helps tie it all together. The finale of this show gets me every time!

Disneyland reopens in just two more day, but we have to wait a bit longer for the return of Fantasmic. Who else misses this show?
Ive heard that it might not come back until late this year or even early next year. Thats goes for the rest of the shows as well :(

@@fordfilo1068 I asked one of the cast members and they said most likely in 2022 or March 2022 but idk if that’s true or not so I don’t have my hopes high after i heard that..

i watched this yesterday, i dont know why but it made me so happy in a different way and i just wanted to cry.
I am crying because it has been 4 years since I have been and right as we were about to go last year the stupid pandemic hit so it makes me sooooo sad knowing that there is a possibility that we won’t be going for another year or two.😥😥

Omg what a beautiful show first time watching this. Smiling and laugh while reminiscing as a young kid watching The Wonderful World of Disney with my family. Sunday's at 6pm we would all sit in our favorite space and watch magic appear before our eyes that only Disney could do. And once again, they have proved to bring that same magic into our lives today. Thank you Disney for being there when I needed to smile, to laugh, to cry, and even get a fright at times.

I was born in 1947. What a great time to be alive. No major cataclysms happened. No world wars. Technology exploded. And best of all Disneyland. Still an annual pass holder. 🧚♀️🧜🏻♀️🧞♀️🐭🚟🗿🎥
i was there live and took 2 tabs of acid, this show was prolly the coolest thing ive ever seen, plus the roller coasters were 10x better

I love it all! Subtle changes with the old and in with the new! The ONLY thing I wouldn't have changed AT ALL would be the original voices of the Disney Princess Floats Sequence! That voice, although beautiful and strong was too operatic for me. The original voices were more Disney'esque. Overall, still amazing and MAGICAL!

That's so sweet, that little girl at around 24:30 waving to the characters on the paddlewheeler. :) They can't see her, and they aren't waving back, exactly, but she's excited and happy and waving at THEM. I love that.

I’m really excited that Florida’s show is gonna get some major upgrades when it comes back. It really deserves to be *almost* as good as the Disneyland show. Like, if they can get everything else upgraded and have to live with the tiny ship, I’m fine with that. But I think all of the new assets they created for this version, especially the ones with Mickey, are awesome and I see no reason why they couldn’t
Integrate them into the new version of the show.

Liberace was onto something with the 'Dancing Waters'.
I so miss that at the hotel. The hotel used to be an attraction all on its own. Loved that mid century design it had too. AND the caves with waterfalls
That ad at the end was so rude! Totally ruined the finale! LOL. Great show 😭 all the feels!

The inner child in me cries to go there! Then my wallet chips in....
Thankfully there's quite a few RUclips channels to help take the bite out of that.
Yes I just booked a trip to Walt Disney World for me,my brother and my niece. 5 nights 6 days and it came to.................................$5,300
@@MrKarmapolice97 Yep, sounds about right. I took my family back in September and including flight it was around $5,800 for the 4 of us 6 nights and 6 days. It is crazy! But totally worth it!!

Wow, just wow! I freakin love Disney
Thanks for filming this. All I can say is don't fix what isn't broken. Some of the new parts were cool but it doesn't make sense to just completely rip out certain parts of the show. They should have just added parts in. I miss the Peter Pan and Hook fighting scene (with the animatronic croc following close behind), and also for some reason they completely took out Snow White and added Rapunzel instead. Which doesn't make much sense to me to be honest. I liked the new lion king section but I missed the old "monkey" dance. Oh yeah and I HATED that the Princesses weren't singing their own parts when they were on their boats. They had one woman record all the voices and it just doesn't sound right. I'm so glad that they kept the dragon part in even though it sometimes had technical issues but I was upset that they got rid of Snow White's step mother's transformation scene and the part where Mickey teleports from the bottom of the stage to the top. I hope they change it a bit more to make it closer to the original one day.
The monkey part was my jam lol. My husband would stop if we were walking JUST to watch me do it lol. I LOVE that part.

Amazing, Thank you very much for posting this, I was apart of the opening Team of Fantasmic in Orlando, Florida and there are a lot of things in the Disneyland show that's not in the Orlando Show unless they have changed it and added that HUGE Pirate BOAT & The Lion King Barge. The Finale Boat was amazing, GREAT MEMORIES, oh my god, it's been years and I live right here in Orlando, Fl. Watching this brought back so many great memories of my entertainment days working for Disney.

The very first Fantasmic show was in Disneyland California in 1992. Ha! Just for spite, Disney is an American brand, Tokyo Disney and all its content are just a copy.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
If this is not the best show Disney has created, it is definitely the best version of the 3!

It costs them a small fortune to stage this, that's why the show in DCA - World of Colour is just lights & water - minimal cast members. Fantasmic is definitely a must see in DL; I was stunned when I first saw it in 2002.
