I like how Fairytail implements emotions into the power system. People clown it but it is PERFECT. It never messed up the story either Just like how dbz characters have a zenkai boost. Instead of being near death, they have to be enraged. Juvia and Sting had great examples. I also want to bring up the fact that his emotion amp and "flames of emotion" are totally different things. Emotional amps are permanent. FOE raises his attack based on emotion but it's just linked to the attack meaning it should really just double the amp itself. After experiencing death Natsu was strong enough to beat Zeref (his power is not a no limits fallacy because the entire point to fairy heart was explained EXACTLY as being able to "fire an infinite amount of etherion blasts") People sleep on his ability to burn magic. People always bring up the fact that Asta has antimagic and Meli has full counter but no one mentions Natsus antimagic ability
Dont forget natsu also gains the abilities of whatever flame he eats. If he eats aces flames he could probably gain the abilities that ace flames provide like turning into literal flames. Him eating yamamotos flames would give him a huge power boost. He has eaten so many different types of flames in the series and gained the abilities it provides. He ate hell fire and gained access to hellfire from that fire dragon that appeared in that arc where the dragon from the past invaded. He also ate celesital energy from the spirit realm and it gave his flames the properties of celestial power and additional haxes.
Acnologia in tenrou Island arc was multi planetary . fiore calculated at 3,700 miles in diameter and the biggest country in the continent can fit 5 a across the diameter. 3,700 x 5 = 18,500

So BOS Gray pretty much has far surpassed Absolute Zero since freezing fire would require a colder temperature. Firstly Fairy Tail has an infinite amount of timelines stated by Ultear in chapter 225 where she can shrink an infinite amount of futures and send them as an attack which she states are parallel worlds. Then in the Grand Magic games, Future Lucy and Future Rogue came from their own timeline to the main timeline in Fairy Tail via the eclipse gate. Ultear states that if they kill Rogue now, then Rogue will no longer exist in the future at all meaning in every timeline he’s gone. That’s also why Future Lucy sacrificed herself because if the main timeline Lucy died, then Lucy would be dead in every timeline of which there is an infinite amount. Now we get into Zeref. He was going to cause a time reset which would reset 400 years of time which would also logically erase 400 years of space. Then he will recreate the world however he wants. I think I counted that there were 4-5 statements of him erasing the current Fairy Tail world when in the context of them it means the entire Universe since he does have complete control over time and space and it makes sense that you are resetting the entire universe. Now if he’s erasing 400 years of time and space, he’s also erasing 400 years of time and space in an infinite amount of timelines since remember, all timelines are connected to the main timeline. To add to this btw, Earthland has been stated to be an infinite universe by Ultear (forgot the chapter) and Edolas and Elentir are parallel worlds to Earthland so they would also be infinite in size. So yes Zeref lowballed is actually Multi. If you want a really good video to watch on Zeref, watch a video called “Zeref Dragneel scale” by a RUclipsr called “FT_Kai”. In FairTail, dragon slayers are only shown to absorb only elements of only other dragon slayers, in example Natsu absorbing Laxus' magic and Gajeel absorbing Rogue's power.

Usually characters have this kind of feats or statements but they aren't consistent or have anti feats. I once questioned myself how Natsu could do this, seeing how he can't normally eat his own flames and is normally restricted to fire. However, I somewhat came to the conclusion that, in order for this to be possible, it shouldn't really be produced by his magical flames. On top of that, it may have simply been the heat he was feeding on rather than the molten metal, which was itself part of a weapon wielded by a Celestial Spirit (which means, it's likely not standard steel he melted with just his body heat). I figure this may be the case as he proceeded to spit back out the tiny molten metal marbles rather than actually eat them. I personally think it's crazy, but vaguely logical since fire is, in a way, burning heat produced from igniting something flammable. At least, from what I understand. Please correct me if I'm wrong, if you wish to. I wouldn't mind learning something new.

So in the time Natsu was not strong enough he couldn't eat his own flame but when he grow stronger and unlock his second origin, maybe his fire dragon roar been upgraded to eat his own flame. If I had to guess, it was either more like "channeling" it into some sort of very powerful attack, or the animators may have thought it was neat to have him inhale his flames for this attack and decided to go with it. I'm more leaning towards the latter, but it could've been the former, or it may have been something else.

In their current state, I'd say they easily beat One Piece, Black Clover, MHA, and MAYBE Naruto and Bleach tier shonen series depending on how you measure and accept some of their more vague and iffy higher end feats. Though, gets more iffy and perhaps downright impossible when reaching Dragon Ball/Saint Seiya/Gurren Lagann levels of shonen series unless 100 Year Quest surprises me with something to reach that level.

I'm sorry but Natsu destroying Dimaria with END form is basically a plot hole as Dimaria was able to freeze Natsu in time earlier and could have killed him then but chose not to, so why didn't Natsu break free then? This would mean she isn't manipulating time itself, but just manipulating the time of her opponents movements. This would make sense as to how natsu was able to burn through her time magic, because magic was being used on him and he could sense it during the moment of the magic taking affect. This is inturn what lead to her demise. I think you don't understand the logic of the argument. You can say that just because you can one-shot a someone, you are not nesessary above the guy's ultimate move, and that would be a sound argument. However here Natsu one-shots both Bluenote and his Black hole, with the same roar. The Black hole was infront Bluenote and it still couldn't even slow down the flames a bit. Would that actually scale to Natsu - most likely no. Just like how no one will scale anyone in One Piece to Blackbeard's Black hole. It is just an outlier, considering that Natsu had to go way beyong his base form to beat characters that are not infinite in any way.

He is, what you explained are the RULES of his universe. Yamamoto wouldn’t be able to use his flames underwater either in that verse. It’s that simple.
Natsu wouldn't be able to eat Yammamoto because Yammo's "Fire" is pure Reiatsu, and his is as hot as the surface of the sun and can be condensed into a sword. Natsu is strong for sure but the way Yammo works isn't really fire.
Natsu can counter and eat heat based abilities, without the abilities being fire - like how he did against Jackal and August. Yamamoto's reiatsu, simply possessing the atribute "hot" gives Natsu all he needs.

In 100 Year Quest there's a world called Elentear, and it has such an abnormally large amount of magic that the very planet is constantly on the verge of self-destructing unless these priests use Whiteout magic to effectively delete the excess magic. Selene, one of the 5 Dragon Gods who are all repeatedly stated to be pretty much equals to each other, just by existing she isn't even fighting, increased Elentear's magic to the point that the world WILL self-destruct even if those Whiteout priests were to do their magic. That means just by EXISTING, Selene is easily in the planetary ranges. And Natsu with his temporary power-ups scales to the Dragon Gods. He beat half-power Mercphobia when he ate some of Ignia's fire, he KILLED a half-power Aldron when he activated Dragon Force, when Wendy enchanted a bunch of Mages magic onto him he was able to fight Viernes on even footing which also means THEY also somewhat scale to the Dragon Gods.

I also want to bring up the fact that his emotion amp and "flames of emotion" are totally different things. Emotional amps are permanent. FOE raises his attack based on emotion but it's just linked to the attack meaning it should really just double the amp itself. Firstly Fairy Tail has an infinite amount of timelines stated by Ultear in chapter 225 where she can shrink an infinite amount of futures and send them as an attack which she states are parallel worlds. Then in the Grand Magic games, Future Lucy and Future Rogue came from their own timeline to the main timeline in Fairy Tail via the eclipse gate. Ultear states that if they kill Rogue now, then Rogue will no longer exist in the future at all meaning in every timeline he’s gone. That’s also why Future Lucy sacrificed herself because if the main timeline Lucy died, then Lucy would be dead in every timeline of which there is an infinite amount.
Now we get into Zeref. He was going to cause a time reset which would reset 400 years of time which would also logically erase 400 years of space. Then he will recreate the world however he wants. I think I counted that there were 4-5 statements of him erasing the current Fairy Tail world when in the context of them it means the entire Universe since he does have complete control over time and space and it makes sense that you are resetting the entire universe. Now if he’s erasing 400 years of time and space, he’s also erasing 400 years of time and space in an infinite amount of timelines since remember, all timelines are connected to the main timeline. To add to this btw, Earthland has been stated to be an infinite universe by Ultear (forgot the chapter) and Edolas and Elentir are parallel worlds to Earthland so they would also be infinite in size. So yes Zeref lowballed is actually Multi.
If you want a really good video to watch on Zeref, watch a video called “Zeref Dragneel scale” by a RUclipsr called “FT_Kai”. He has scans and he scales Zeref as well in the video. You’d be surprised that Zeref can actually scale much higher than you think. Hope that helps G💪

I once questioned myself how Natsu could do this, seeing how he can't normally eat his own flames and is normally restricted to fire. However, I somewhat came to the conclusion that, in order for this to be possible, it shouldn't really be produced by his magical flames.
On top of that, it may have simply been the heat he was feeding on rather than the molten metal, which was itself part of a weapon wielded by a Celestial Spirit (which means, it's likely not standard steel he melted with just his body heat). I figure this may be the case as he proceeded to spit back out the tiny molten metal marbles rather than actually eat them. I personally think it's crazy, but vaguely logical since fire is, in a way, burning heat produced from igniting something flammable. At least, from what I understand.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, if you wish to. I wouldn't mind learning something new.

If I had to guess, it was either more like "channeling" it into some sort of very powerful attack, or the animators may have thought it was neat to have him inhale his flames for this attack and decided to go with it.
I'm more leaning towards the latter, but it could've been the former, or it may have been something else.

You can say that just because you can one-shot a someone, you are not nesessary above the guy's ultimate move, and that would be a sound argument.
However here Natsu one-shots both Bluenote and his Black hole, with the same roar. The Black hole was infront Bluenote and it still couldn't even slow down the flames a bit.
Would that actually scale to Natsu - most likely no. Just like how no one will scale anyone in One Piece to Blackbeard's Black hole. It is just an outlier, considering that Natsu had to go way beyong his base form to beat characters that are not infinite in any way.

Natsu can counter and eat heat based abilities, without the abilities being fire - like how he did against Jackal and August. Yamamoto's reiatsu, simply possessing the atribute "hot" gives Natsu all he needs.

Selene, one of the 5 Dragon Gods who are all repeatedly stated to be pretty much equals to each other, just by existing she isn't even fighting, increased Elentear's magic to the point that the world WILL self-destruct even if those Whiteout priests were to do their magic. That means just by EXISTING, Selene is easily in the planetary ranges. And Natsu with his temporary power-ups scales to the Dragon Gods. He beat half-power Mercphobia when he ate some of Ignia's fire, he KILLED a half-power Aldron when he activated Dragon Force, when Wendy enchanted a bunch of Mages magic onto him he was able to fight Viernes on even footing which also means THEY also somewhat scale to the Dragon Gods.
