    very intresting conversation
brother Saboor is a very intelligent educated student who has studied and researched in depth a wide range of subjects especially religion and has had many debates with well known scholars professors and lecturers from many parts of the world including most recently in the usa..
he is doing a great Job at speakers corner in clearing up misconceptions about religeon and especially Islam also helping the public understand Islam with more accurate understandings then what the media portray and mislead the public..
we need more brothers who r willing to study in depth as brother Saboor has done so we can change the stereo type of Islam and all the false hood associated with Islam.
may the Lord bless and reward u brother Saboor for all your efforts in giving Dawah ameen

If you look at the life of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), not a single person was killed for merely changing his/her private religion but only once they came out publicly in the act of treason and treachery, cooperating with the enemies to either harm the muslims or harm islam, were they ever punished. And even before this could even take place, they were offered a fair trial and hearing before a court where in most cases they were given the right to repent and granted forgiveness. Islam practiced open hearing and natural justice along with leniency before legal codes were even introduced which is why Mohammad (pbuh) earned the title of 'The greatest lawgiver of all time'. Capital punishment in the act of treason is nothing new. US CODE 2381, where citizens could most likely be killed for treason and conspiracy against he state.

this agnostic is only looking into islam. no other religion because Islam is the only religion based upon a reasonable theology.
he is a reasonable guy but has misconceptions about some ahadith and the law of apostasy etc. its because of these questions he is in denial. this is what it seems from his arguements wa Allahu A3lam.
but these questions will disappear once he is given a strong arguement why Quran is definitely the word of the Creator. I hope someone does that

    • @urwashahid9210
      @urwashahid9210 7 лет назад +6

Nope, I heard his debate with Mohammad Hijab where he clarified that he is particularly interested in Islam or something along these lines.
It's true Islam is in the news a lot. People are propagating against it but the effect is the opposite. just in the last 7 years, 100,000 people accepted Islam in Britain, 72% of those are women. this is just for Britain.
there is only one mainstream understanding. the apostate is to be put to death in an Islamic state for treason. this law cannot be practiced anywhere in the world today because there is no Islamic state which is governed by the laws of the Creator.
You need to understand that Islam is not just a faith. Islam encompasses a whole way of life at an individual, societal and governmental level. The Creator has not missed a single aspect in His approved way of life.
If someone leaves Islam, he hasn't just left his faith, he has left the military and knows all your secrets. If he can help the enemy against you in battles and stuff, his punishment is death.
there are narrations where the prophet عليه الصلاة والسلام (as the head of the state: political leader) let go of those who promised and signed a treaty to never help any enemy against the Islamic state.
but if this person or these people broke the treaty and harmed the Muslims, or proved treacherous (like the Jewish tribe that lived in Madinah and signed a treaty but secretly helped Quraish to annihilate the Muslims), then Muslims are to battle with them and those people are to face the punishment.
Btw, what is the punishment of treason in states? It is the same. so why do you have a problem if the state of Madinah had this law?
Islam is one religion. those that divide are the ones with no knowledge of the Quran and sunnah, they are just assuming and having wishful thinking like the Christians. when presented with evidence, they turn away.
People who study the deen and understand it truly submit to the Creator of the universe and are united upon the truth. they are a minority in the present day as the majority let their desires rule them

    • @Cobmetal1
      @Cobmetal1 7 лет назад +3

How could you miss the point so badly? She clearly said that at that time leaving Islam and moving to an enemy tribe was considered treachery. She very clearly said AT THAT TIME. In today's world there is no Islamic state, pagan state, Christian empire, and Jewish alliances like there were at that time. Therefore, it is not applicable today. In the modern day, it is equivalent to betraying your country and leaking information to your enemies. And btw in Islamic history, there are countless examples of people who left Islam and were never hurt by anyone.
As for the Banu Qurayza tribe, the prophet sent four messengers right before the battle to confirm that they will honor their agreement and they promised they would. He already knew they were going to betray him but he still gave them a chance. Then, during the battle, the Jews allowed the Pagans to attack the Muslims from their side and intended to fight themselves were it not for the Prophet's intelligence who ordered a group of Muslims to go all around the city and scream Allahu Akbar in different places at the same time to give the Jewish tribe the illusion that the Muslims are victorious. That would in return prevent them from backstabbing the Muslims like they intended to. As for the punishment, an arbitrator was chosen whom the jews accepted and he made the judgement not the prophet.
That judgement was made according to the Jewish law which states that in cases of treachery men have to be slain, women and children taken as captives. In their initial agreement with the prophet, they were allowed their own system of law according to the Torah. The prophet neither influenced the decision nor was he involved in any stage of the decision-making, as the representatives of Banu Qurayzah did not seek his judgement.
It is also important to note that that was not the first Jewish tribe to breach their treaty with the prophet. The first time he forgave, the second time he expelled them and allowed them to take all their properties with them. Third time, he had to be firm or else he would have been begging to be killed as well as all his followers. If that pagan-Jewish alliance had worked every Muslim would have been slaughtered that day. Learn to read and understand.
If you really want to educate yourself about that incident, here are a few prolonged more accurate rebuttals.

the statistic I gave only mentions the number of people who changed their names to muslim names and had to go through all the processes of changing it on their birth certificate etc. majority of reverts dont do this, like darren myat and paul from the SC.
all these 100,000 were those who were engaged in the study of comparative religion for at least 7 years. some of them started with islam and then went on to study other religions and came back to islam.
no, people who become muslim in the UK are not entering a muslim army because its not an Islamic state. like the bro above said, you completely missed my arguement. re-read for clarity
Islam is not a religion. I am restricted by the english langauge to translate the word this way but its actually a "deen" which can be roughly put as "way of life".
I highly encourage you to read about how the world was when the law of the Creator was practiced under the caliphate of God-concious Muslims. that in itself is a proof that this can only be the law of the Creator.
look the time of Omar ibn Al khattab (one of the best companions of the prophet عليه الصلاة والسلام and the 2nd khalifah of Islam). if you dont like reading, im sure you can find videos here on youtube.
also, in the time of Omar Ibn Abdul Aziz, the state reached a level of perfection, wallahi. there was no crime and No poverty.
there are authentic reports stating that muslims would complain that they cannot find anyone to give zakah (obligatory charity) to.
please read this beautiful history of Islam and how it transformed the most primitive people of the time to the greatest reformists to ever walk this earth in very short time.
the uk constitution that you are proud of is also inspired by the pact of Omar ibn al Khattab as is stated in their documents. br. Hamza tzortzis once shared it at the SC.
do search about this if you wanna know.
Do not look at the present example, there is no Islamic state today.
if you provide me any example of apostasy, it will be invalid because this is a capital punishment for the crime of treason in an Islamic state and such a scenario is non existent in the present world. but if you have any examples then sure go ahead.

^And there are more. now this is anti islamic media that i referenced. you can also check out revert stories on youtube to know why people convert to Islam.
I've got too much work at hand so i will only be able to give a brief reply:
firstly, stop quoting me out of context, i was talking about the time of the Prophet عليه الصلاة والسلام and when Islam functioned at a national level.
muslims weren't defined by a certain enthnicity, rather they were "muslims" from the "islamic state" which had its military. my brodah, I wonder if you really dont get it or you're just playing dumb.
yes I am exactly saying that. there is no apostasy law for anyone leaving islam anywhere in the world today because this is not treason in case of people who are just leaving Islam as a faith.
"there shall be no compulsion in faith" (surah al baqarah: 256). hope you can comprehend this, its really simple
at the time of Omar Ibn Abdul Aziz, the muslim state reached perfection at a societal level. there was peace in the land and the society functioned very healthy.
at an individual level, you cannot change each and every individual's heart. curropt people still existed and every great leader has enemies.
UK does not have to have a written contitution but it has a system, doesnt it?
which is inspired by the pact of Omar Ibn al Khattab and this fact is written by someone that Br. Hamza spoke of quote on quote.
youtube "hamza tzortzis - who was muhammad"
      Good day

My bro in humanity, I really do not have time to read your reply. seriously. I am so sorry but I have got some massive projects to take care of (I am an architect). I can listen to audios in the background but cannot read. can you be kind enough to put your main message in a nutshell? Then, I will try to address your questions as much as time allows

The man with the cowboy hat is all over the place he flip flops when his arguments goes against his arguments. I think he should pause for a moment think about what he is about to say then make a comment. Watching him in different video's l think he is not there to learn but just to argue for the sake of arguing.

At some point theists have to admit that religion is based on faith and not on reason and logic. Through centuries of argument and discourse, rationality has resulted in atheism and a secular society. Using reason to justify religion and undermine science is ridiculous and futile: stick to faith.

you want to know how calling out to god on your death bed make sense in a naturalistic world view? simple. we have evolved brains that are flawed and can believe in things that are untrue. Also, risk assessment is a survival tool, therefore you assess the risk of dying, and add a safety net of 'might as well try god just incase'. Easy peasy mate lol
