i know, me too! theres too much fun
I guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?
I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Mordechai Sage instablaster :)
@Holden Shepherd i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Holden Shepherd WTF IT REALLY WORKED! I just got access to my IG account details after ~ 45 minutes by using the site.
Just had to pay 15$ but for sure worth the price :)
Thank you so much, you saved my account :D
It’s crazy that this randomly showed up in my recommended over a year ago. Japan by Bicycle has left a bigger impact on my life than any other RUclips video... ever. It’s a reminder to love the little things in life and seek unique adventures. Thank you for spreading this joy.
So glad it's made a position difference for you :-)
back when youtube was still youtube and not plagued by vloggers, shorts, and reaction videos, a time when ppl uploaded not to make 30 cents, but to shared their adventures
Just here for my yearly view, thanks for the video again Andrew, hope you are doing well!!
Thanks Zach!
This is the best usage of the Internet, inspire others and share kindness. You all should be very proud of the way you are, thank you for sharing.

I'm glad someone is out there living life, exploring, and giving back.
Thanks for sharing for those of us who can't seem to get out of our ruts.
This was enjoyable and encouraging to me. Thank you!
Great documentary! I was in Japan recently and it was everything I thought it would be. Aside from the poetic beauty, the cleanliness, the yummy food, the lights, the traditions...what really struck me was how everyone was just so nice to each other not just to foreigners. They're kind of aloof at first because of the language barrier but if you make an effort, they will go out of their way, in broken English and creative gestures, just to help you out. Japanese people are an exemplary race. Japan is a utopian example of what nations should or aspire to be. That being said, I am not surprised that they immediately came to the aid of Filipinos even though they themselves are still recovering from the 311. They are just a selfless bunch. No boundaries, just humanity. must respect to the people of Japan.
Totally agree. Japan can remain so nice and high trust because they know that Japan belongs to the Japanese. They monitor their borders closely and, while quick to help foreigners in need, don't allow unwanted visitors in.
In many ways, Japan is very much like how America and Europe used to be. But we are a naive and unwise people at times and we do not keep close watch on who we let in. Thus we suffer, as do the things we can accomplish. Bullet trains would be lovely, but we have foolish expenditures that the Japanese have carefully avoided. You are correct. The Japanese are truly an exemplary race.
@@rassenkrieg8893 Wow, quick to bring out the xenophobia, eh? Well, I hope you've since moved on from your beliefs for the sake of yourself and those around you.
I am an American who has lived in Hokkaido for the past 6 years, and I am still amazed by the kindness of the Japanese people, the beauty of the landscape, lack of crime and wonderful food. I must say I have found my home.
This was really amazing! Makes me wants to go to Japan even more! The people seem amazing aswell as the food and the landscapes!
+Job. 夢 They are.
Thank you Andrew, for answering my email immediately after I had emailed after watching this years ago in 2015-16. Literally within hours. On a random rant at 3AM Eastern. You were my inspiration to travel to Japan and you always will be even if I always wanted to visit. I live near where you did ~around the same age and it allowed me to connect more so with you and your video's even if I didn't you know personally. You convinced me; To convince me and my friends to go. Your video made me want to go to Japan more so than any other RUclipsr's had. Especially on what to do and go and see while there. Even more so on your suggestion to Miyajima and also to climb Fushimi-Inari early in the morning and I will never forget that or the memories I made while I was there, visiting places from your suggestions through email. I want to thank you whole heartedly. I will never forget you or your suggestions. Time has past but I still love coming back to watch your video even years after the fact. Your experience with your friends in Japan influenced me. It has made me want to also bike the length of Japan. And I will do so before my time is up. Because of you. Thank you.
Cycling is one of the best way to admire Japan's beauty. You guys did a very GREAT journey and it's AWESOME!! Thank you so much for this inspiring video.
Who want to have a trip like this in 2020?
Let us plan.
well maybe not in 2020, cuz you know, corona
Going in april for 3 months :D Bikepacking
I watched all the documentary with my mom and we want to thank guys to have shared this experience. God bless you all !!
Thanks! Bless you too!
Quite possibly my favorite portion of this documentary is 20:13 - 24:59, I've rewatched it many times. The music fits well with the clips of Kyoto and gives a great sense of how beautiful many portions of this traditional prefecture are.
On an unrelated note, I was unaware that people took trips from one end of Japan to the other until I saw this documentary. I've been living in Japan since the spring of 2012, and it's my dream to set up a website where I can share Japan with the world. At some point (after the world has gotten over Covid-19) I'd love to travel the length of Japan just like these three in the documentary. Instead of biking, I'd like to walk the length of the country, visit each prefecture, and make a documentary video (such as this) while writing about my experience. Since viewing this documentary, I've watched other movies/blogs on the internet of others who have also traveled the length of Japan, but I find This documentary to be the most inspiring. This is a documentary that inspires me to continue building my website and makes me fall in love with Japan more and more every time I watch it.
Wow! Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad this video has had a positive impact. I hope you get to walk the length of Japan!
I'm a ordinary high school student in Japan. I have wanted to show normal aspects of my county. So,I am so glad that you showed many beautiful aspects of Japan such as natures and cultures instead of crowded Tokyo.
Thank you so much. Thank you. I was so moved.
すばらしい映像! BGMも、しみじみしていて日本らしくて良かったです!ありがとうございました!
Amazing documentary! Thank you so much! Hope you all are doing fine and will come to Japan again. Arigato😊

偶然見つけた動画だけど130万円もの募金を集めつつ日本を満喫したようで有難い思いです。
What an amazing adventure! I got lost in Takao outside of Tokyo and ended up walking for 3 hours straight through small towns to get to my destination. I can't imagine what an adventure this must have been
A very fun and interesting journey to watch. Also, awesome of you guys to raise that money to support the relief effort, I'm sure it helped a lot of people out!
You guys are so lucky! You have wonderful memories. I am so jealous! I wish I were young again.
I love Japan so much. I lived there in Shizuoka. Visited over 30 times. I will miss Japan forever.

Best Documentary about Japan I've seen so far, amazing job. Thank you so much for inspiring us
there's another great one called "A Life in Japan _ Documentary (English with English subtitles)"
Well Done! Very well edited video and a great bike challenge! Thank you for showing us Japan through your point of view. Cheers
This is possible only from very strong patient human beings. Indeed, however, both of you have set a rock example together. Thank you very much and hats off to all your teams. All of you have really shown indomitable courage. Whatever praise and admiration for all of you, it will be very little in front of your patience.
Awesome. I always wanted to do something similar but I can't find other people to do it. The huge difference it makes on your life just having 1 or 2 people willing to jump aboard with you, it's insane.
This is so true. I believe life is all about building relationships with out people, and the value of doing a trip like this with other people cannot be undervalued. - Andrew
i miss videos made like this, videos that brings you to the creator's journey with them, a sense of mystery that happens in the world, now youtube has been reduced to vloggers, shorts, and reaction videos
外国人は開放的で自由。見ていて気持ちいい。自分の意思と体を目一杯使って人生を楽しんでる。
I greatly appreciate your true heart.

i say there is only 3 phases: 1 the dreamer in the land of his dreams, 2 the understandniss of everything/frustration, 3 the knowledge that nothing is perfect and perfect is nothing. Good luck and be critic with yourself
Truly inspiring! I'm planning a similar trip around Japan this summer, so this gave me a broader insight on what I should expect. Thanks a lot!
Amazing video. I wasn't even going to watch the film at the beginning but the entire footage just made me stay until the end. I say two thumbs up!
i would really like to watch 43 raw uncut version of episodes for each of that day biking!! / biking vlog !! :)
Hi Andrew. Nice video, thanks. If you're going to do some multi-day cycling or hiking in Japan you have to have a strategy to deal with some serious raining at some stage, by the looks of it...
Through some Sherlock Holmes-worthy analysis I've figured out your (guerrilla-)camping spot in Mihara, on my next trip to Japan (trip #4, on the way to also #4 visit to Naoshima, 🤞) I'll go and see if I can find your Gerber multi-tool... ;)
Have a good trip! If you find the Gerber you can keep it :-)
What a beautiful documentary of adventure and friendship. That’s living life ✌️
You guys are awesome!
I really enjoyed watching your experiences *-* thank you so much for sharing

My friend recommended this documentary due to the fascination that I had towards Japan, Boy! now I can’t wait to go to Japan. You lads truly had an adventure of a lifetime, all I can do is envy you! Way to Go! Hope to see more such adventure videos in the future :) Good Luck!
Great documentary guys, and very good of you to put so much work into creating this and ebook to encourage others. Just to give other people more options, I recommend looking into "bikepacking", basically using an ultralight camping setup that can be attached to any type of bike, even fully aero carbon fibre road bikes, through the use of special bags. The established image is touring on steel frame bikes with racks and panniers, but this is not necessary any more. Two important aspects of Japan are that a. there are convenience stores everywhere, so you can ditch the cooking, and b. it's a very mountainous country and the best roads with great scenery and minimal traffic are in the mountains. Weight on your bike on the flat is irrelevant, but it makes a big difference when you are climbing. Regular bikes with QR wheels and less gear are also good for ferries, trains, etc. If heavy rain is forecast, there are lots of cheap places to stay in the countryside, some of them for people touring on motorbikes.
Nice documentary
Great trip and documentary guys!
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing this.
Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate all your support greatly! - Andrew
