I’m not a fan of MM93, but that’s not true. If Ducati would have signed JM89 for second Factory seat, then EB23 would still went somewhere else… Also, the departure of MB72 is not linked to MM93, since MB72 was not in the race for Factory Ducati anyway. So he wanted a factory seat, couldn’t get it at Ducati (with or without MM93), so he went somewhere else. That’s definitely what can happen when you’re a team that raise new riders, at some point they might want a bigger ($$$) contract with a factory team… Also, I don’t know who would be the third top rider Ducati has lost? We still don’t know yet who’s signing with Gresini and VR46, besides FA54 (which has a Ducati contract).
Making them go back to 6 bikes next year is a start, but 4 should really be the maximum for one brand, or they just have too much data for other teams to compete. Every single round yamaha falls 6 full race weekends behind Ducati in development data. Just no way they can compete.

My prediction is Bagnaia will win the title again this year. Not because he is the best rider but he and HIS BIKE happen to be the best combination. It is clear by now there is no chance of any of the Ducati GP23 specs bikes being able to challenge the GP24s no matter how heavenly Marc Marquez, arguably the best rider on the track, will ride his outdated machine for the rest of the current season. He would likely get the trophy he has long coveted, though, next year with the best bike, and with the best team capable to fully assist him to win the title after a few lost years with Honda and a more or less trial year with how Ducati bikes perform. Yes, Pramac may have the latest specs GP24 too on paper but latest specs isn't equal to the best combined team resources to win and every rider with everything to lose and gain in his MotoGP career knows that. Not a Marc fan but I wanted to see him fight with Pecco again, he had no chance in this one. Not helped by the fact that Assen is not a particularly strong track of his and Pecco going 30 seconds faster than last year, showcasing that the GP24 is faster overall. Of course a lot of guys went faster than last year too, Marc included, Im just pointing out that there is a difference in the quality of the machinery. If I were you guys I wouldnt expect Marc to dominate Sachesenring, I think Pecco and Martin will certainly challenge him. It was a 'guess' as the Commentator clearly stated. SENSORS data shown on the bikes dash MAY have indicated MMs tyres were Too cold, so by tucking in behind DiGi he could get his front tyre hotter, which would increase the tyre-pressure.....
