Hats off to Chris Gunthorpe and Wayne Gaskell, for providing us with such amazing 'driving force' engines! Always a delight to see Francis delighted! 🤗🤗🥰🥰❤❤
Francis you give me the will to carry on living, your life energy is really contagious. If i feel a bit jaded I just watch your vids, them I'm up for it again. Thank you. 😊👍
I love that you are unashamedly enjoying yourself looking at trains. I know most people don't understand the love of trains, but I do. I love to see them. And I'm just now getting into going around looking at them. Good on you Francois 😊
I fully agree. I'm older than Francis but I also fully understand the wish to connect back to childhood and if that means building Lego, so be it. Wonderful videos, great enthusiasm and a warm smile.
I was feeling a bit hopeless when I woke up this morning. It’s people/videos like this that are inspiring people to find things they love and to pursue it.
I dont watch tv.. havnt for years! Came across Francis's shorts on RUclips.. started watching his longer fornat vids.. now ive just come across his channel 4 tv show! Omg so happy for the journey you have been on and you deserve everything 😊
Your enthusiasm, buoyancy, and effervescence are infectious to watch lol, your giggles when you hear the tones lol, and really admire your narration too, complete with hilarity, just huge congratulations on your much deserved success! Hoping they name train/Station after you ❤
I like your enthusiasm of the thrash of the 56s and stuff and I quite like the class 37s when they accelerate with loads of thrash and tones as well as tangs to the drivers
Im hoping to get a driver experience day at east lancs railway.. Hoping for next year if possible. Not sure if you can pick and choose your loco you want to drive or not? I would take 50,56,55,45,46,40,37,33,31 25.. Not such a fan of diesel hydraulics or claytons/class 14s.. But just hope i get a chance to drive a diesel!! Great videos as always. Love your passion for trains.. Reminds me of when i was a kid trainspotting in 80s and 90s..
as a kid we lived by the main line from chichester to portsmouth and beyond...our garden lbacked onto track, loved watching the trains, esp the frieght and the odd one carrying cars...the royal train often went through..the only noise that drove me mad was workmen during the night...great seeing you so happy..a real joy.
Now I'm not an especially train loving guy, but I am a huge avgeek. I understand the excitement when it comes to machines like this! Very brave and powerful to show your love without care. Love your content.
Absolutely lovely this! A proper fan of great traction without getting all technical! Loved the 66 barrelling through too! First saw 56’s when we went on holiday down near Oxford and they were doing the merry go rounds. Absolutely awesome to see them at 80mph flying past when you’re 8! Thank you Paul
Love the sound of the old diesel-electrics given the beans. Also love the sound of the steam loco's on full throttle .There again, Dad is an ex BR loco engineer.
There are some great drivers at present Francis, Gunny is a legend as is The Boff! There is a video of the Boff in the cab super thrashing a class 56 with mega clag that makes the hairs stand up on my arms when i hear it, reminds me of the old Valenta HST's days when they would pull out from Newcastle Central
Hi .. I’m new to your channel and I’m blown away with the shape power and sound of these Locomotives.. I’ve had an eye in the past for these powerful machines but I totally enjoy your very informative coverage .. keep up the enjoyable channel.. thanks for the turbo whistling and power surging power house engines ..
My Mate put me on to your channel. All I can say is that there can't be anyone with as much enthusiasm and passion about locomotives and trainspotting that you have. Absolutely brilliant fella. And I've just subscribed to your channel.
"It should really build up some of that turbo scream that we all love." Yes, we do! And yes it did! When I was in the army I loved listening to the tanks spin up their engines. That turbine whine is exilerating. Same thing with the helos where I work now. I Love your enthusiasm, Francis.
wonderful to see you enjoying the railways francis. i was a spotter based in chesterfield as a school kid in the early 70s and loved it. still find railways interesting to this day. you make really good videos and i enjoy watching them.
Just saw the Lego advert... "and for the next course, the coal section"... Subtley suggesting to the girl, to her obvious delight, an evening of 'shoveling the coal'. Absolute legend!!
I loved the blue freight trains, do you know as a child i loved them and still love them, even though ferry boats is something i followed at your age. but i would have loved to have seen those blue freight train trucks for real. What a lovely polite young man you seem and doing your own thing and being yourself.
Francis the Driver of the 56's also spends his time in the North West at the East Lancashire Railway and he was my Driver instructor the day I drove a class 35 Hymek , great guy..keep up the good work
Awesome passion! Greetings from a model car collector. I grew up with a Hornby train set with home made country & town scenery - fond memories. My passion currently is a rather large model car collection.
Great stuff Francis. You were kind enough to let my friend and I have a photo taken with you at Kidderminster the other day so thanks for that. Really liked this video!
Hi Francis.. My dad/mom used to take me to Dawlish every year when I was very young with my brothers... Dad used to tell me what class of locomotives that went past in the late 60s early 70s as he loved trains.. I used to hear the sound of the class 52 Westerns which I still love today.. In Fact I saw you on Friday at Bewdley at the SVR Spring Diesel Festival to.. I was going to talk to you but you were with a few friends..Love your videos 💞
Great video Francis I agree the sound of the class 56 sounds awesome especially on full power the only other locomotives that can match them for impressive sounds in my humble opinion is the class 37,s and deltics 😊
Hats off to Chris Gunthorpe and Wayne Gaskell, for providing us with such amazing 'driving force' engines! Always a delight to see Francis delighted! 🤗🤗🥰🥰❤❤

I love seeing the massive freight trains going through clapham junction. The noise and the power is awesome
My Dad served his apprenticeship working on the last steam trains before diesels took over.
Must have been a wonderful experience
I love Francis he comes across as a man who is older than his father!
I like your enthusiasm of the thrash of the 56s and stuff and I quite like the class 37s when they accelerate with loads of thrash and tones as well as tangs to the drivers
I'm sure plenty of people would see this video as strange, but these older trains are so cool, and you present in a quirky but very good way.
I hope you never loose your joy of life and never grow up just because it's the done thing.
Francis never fails to make me smile!
Well done,Francisc!Pure joy,love this guy!

Hi Francis Great video and Brilliant 56s’s and Lego train. Yatton is a good place to trainspot you should come down 👍
Im in scotland and i could smell the diesel from here
56s do sound amazing but there is an aliasing problem with the audio causing a lot of burbling distortion.
This guy is a genius
