Not sure yet! I seem to practice a blend of a lot of different types. Which would you say you are?
@@arielle5876 I'm also not sure! I would say Eclectic for now since I'm trying different things as well, but I feel a connection with the green path so far and lunar or star witch (that I mention in the second part) :) xx

As a witch we can do it all . Some of us just prefer one way over another . I started when I was 15 I’m now 50 I’ve experienced a lot along the way .
I’m still a newbie, however for me I’d identify as a bit of a Crystal witch and a Oracle witch.
First time I heard about the ''Intrinsic (Energy) Witch'', which I always kind of practiced even if unconsciously, as a kid. I really tune with it, because I know that my visualizations can incredibly affect reality.

Witch is used for both men and women(and non-binary people). Warlock usually means 'traitor' or something else with a negative connotation.

That sounds like a nice combination to help you on the healing path!
I don't really go by labels. I'm just a Witch plain and simple.
And that's ok too! Some witches prefer to define their practice with a more specific style, but that might not be for everybody :)
I'm kind of a bunch of things lol
I'd say my practice involves ancestor veneration, crystals in addition to herbs, as well as working with animal and tree/plant spirits and the Good Folk. There's more animism as opposed to outright deity worship; I found all the names very confusing and tiring. Sensing the energy of a particular deity, spirit, etc is a lot easier for me.
My overall practice includes cottage/hearth/kitchen witch, with a smidge of hedge witchery thrown in. I consider hedge magick to involve the boundary between our world and the Otherworld, which for me is the land of the Good Folk. Its very akin to the fairy faith, for me. As such, (in my practice at least) hedge witchery is about kind of appeasing a balance between our world and Theirs.
If I may explain the spoon thing you are referring to, think of it as having a box of silverware. You got forks, knives, and spoons, etc, but you always have a limited amount and some of these are better for some tasks than others. For those who are using spoons as a way to explain limited energy, the concept is that this figurative box of silverware is missing a few spoons or forks or knives and so you are left with less perhaps than you need for a task, or even only the wrong tools for the task. And this is what people mean when they might say “I’m low on spoons today,” or “I’m all out of spoons.” It just means you are limited on the energy you need to get through certain daily tasks, responsibilities, or obligations in your life and so you either got to get creative or burn out. Honestly depends on each person. I am assuming this is the concept that the spoon witch is referring to, for clarification. Hope that helped.

@@WyllowNorth probably not. I mean I’m sure those who do are fine. It just means they are self aware of their energy and limitations with that. Most people I know that think like this often get creative about how they use even their low energy so they can more efficiently get done what they need to for daily tasks. I myself use the spoon example for days where my depression and sensory issues make the day a bit more difficult than usual. Like I said, it’s really just about knowing your limitations which is probably a good thing when it comes to witchcraft anyway. I haven’t met someone who specifically uses this path though so I can’t really say how one goes about using it in practice. I just understood the spoon example and, from what you said ,realized that was probably what was trying to be explained.
Personally I’m still eclectic since I’m both new and not new to witchcraft. I only recently became self aware that what I was doing was witchcraft. A friend recommended I try writing down my thoughts, memories, experiences, and practices, and then compare them to proper witchcraft research. It was kind of a moment of “now you get it, right?” with all my friends and relatives. No one was shocked. Lol. But I do want to say thank you for the extensive list of known and named paths. It makes my further research easier as I seek out what works for me specifically!
@mentalrebllion1270 As far as I know, it's not so much a path as a way to describe how one journeys on their current path. A spoonie witch is someone with, yes, a chronic illness or decreased energy level, or is fully disabled. I find that these people usually will have more go with the flow, laid back practices. Can't do a full spell? Anoint a candle and burn that for a bit. Don't have the energy for a crafty spell like making a charm or token of some sort? Just visualize. Can't visualize because you're blind or just not capable of visualizing? Maybe try more energy sensation or vocalization for manifesting. There's no right way to do spooning magic, and that is the beauty of it: you can adapt your spell work to your comfort and capability instead of the other way around.

I don't know if I would consider myself a Wizard or not. I've only burned two sigils, both I don't think they worked, and I'm interested in the Hypersigilsand story based magick. SO IDk what I am, I don't know what I'm doing with my life.
There is absolutely no pressure to describe yourself as anything. You can be interested in sigils without calling yourself a wizard if it doesn't resonate with you and that's completely fine! I made this video as a guideline for those who wished to learn about some of the different ways to practice, as some people find it easier to describe their craft and themselves with something more specific, but it's not everyone's case! No matter the tool, intention is the basis to any spell. Sigils is a form of spelling and its own language, it can take time to master. If your heart is calling you to dive deeper, I say go ahead! And if at some point you wish to take a completely different route, that's ok too! Life is not linear and should not be limited to only a few options! I know not having a clear direction for our life journey can be stressful and scary, but it is, in a way, a blessing in disguise, as many opportunities to choose the life you want tend to arise at that time. It's a bit messy and confusing, but it's an opportunity to start with a clean slate, regardless of what you are and aren't ✨
I'm 32 and I just don't know what I'm doing, to be honest, lol. I hear Grant Morrison talk about Sigils and Hypersigils and they seem cool and I want to believe it can work. I'm a storyteller and I'm just having a hard time with my life right now. I'm an Existentialist at heart. I would try anything just to get my life together.@@WyllowNorth

Hey! I would say the basis would be to establish a routine of meditation and journaling to really be able to connect with your shadow self (video coming about that soon!). Finding calm, alone time to do these everyday should be a good start! Hope this helps :)

@@undisturb3d905 Seeing different things during meditation is normal. You might see flashes of light, blobs of colour and visions. If the lines aren't something you usually see when you close your eyes, I don't think it's something to be worried about ☺️ Hope this helps
Please try to charge or resonate my energy to know that I'm witch or not because I have resonated with the all points you mention. I have experience sleep paralysis, vivid dream dream in dream,i have body temperature and heart beat rising for no reason, I'm a healer , I'm empathy , mensuration prblm, wake up in midnight or 3 to 5 am, i curious about spirituality but nt into religious, i can sense the energy and atmosphere, no friends happy to watch moon, specially cats are drawn to me and somewhat i can talk to them, i hv experience paranormal activities too and if discrimination happens infornt of me i hate that i try to help them. I'm fantasy this things of unseen creature vampire,witch, witchcraft things, astrology,tarot, zodiac,old castle ,old stuff and wool land and last spell work power those they really exist.

Hi ! Witch here. Anyone can be a witch or practice witchcraft so it isn't a matter of "am i a witch or not" it's more like a Journey that you may or may not want to pursue. Hope this helps

1- Yes, absolutely! The word witch etymologically comes from an Old English word that had both feminine and masculine ways of being used: wicce (f) and wicca (m). The name for the practice of Wicca is directly derived from that word, and was actually founded by a man. Historically speaking, men also used practices that are incorporated in witchcraft, such as herbalism. Although women were most often accused of witchcraft, men were not entirely safe from being prosecuted either (but could be let off the hook more easily).
2- Your practice is entirely up to you. As long as the different types don't counteract with each other, it's done respectfully and if it works for you, I don't see any issue! There is nothing wrong with exploring and trying different things to see what works best for you. Hope this helps!

Of course! Although the official origin of Wicca itself is from England, it involves nature worship in Europe in general and is a bit of a blend. As long as it feels right for you and harms none, there's no rule that says you can't 😊

I think I may be a subtle winter witch due to the cold, snowy Canadien winters that kinda kinda are embedded in my soul, although I havent watches p2 yet so I have yet to find out!
