The word witch etymologically comes from an Old English word that had both feminine and masculine ways of being used: wicce (f) and wicca (m). The name for the practice of Wicca is directly derived from that word, and was actually founded by a man. Historically speaking, men also used practices that are incorporated in witchcraft, such as herbalism. Although women were most often accused of witchcraft, men were not entirely safe from being prosecuted either (but could be let off the hook more easily). 2- Your practice is entirely up to you. As long as the different types don't counteract with each other, it's done respectfully and if it works for you, I don't see any issue! There is nothing wrong with exploring and trying different things to see what works best for you. Hope this helps!

@WyllowNorth it was a very pissed off bar maid! Actually to tell the truth the scariest thing I witnessed there was when I was out having a smoke that same night as our piano concert. Was having a smoke when the door opens and about 5 guys come out carrying someone who's well passed the pished phase and more in a coma like state. They stick him on the old fashioned cart thing that sits at the front door, wheel it out onto the road start laughing and just head back inside! You've been there so you know it's a national speed limit road and it's just after a blind bend in the road, and cars fly past giving it beans all the time. So I'm just stood there with my mate and this other guy we didn't know and were like " eh better move him before he gets killed or a car swerves right into the building " wheeled him off the road and into the car park 🙈🤣. Guy didnt wake up once, if you fall asleep in most pubs they might draw on your face or pour water over you....not the drovers the locals there will stick you in the middle of a barely lit 60 mph road 🤣

Of course! Although the official origin of Wicca itself is from England, it involves nature worship in Europe in general and is a bit of a blend. As long as it feels right for you and harms none, there's no rule that says you can't 😊

I think Glastonbury has a lot of witchy/esoteric shops and a large pagan community. In terms of history tho, there were no known trials for witchcraft in Glastonbury, whereas York Castle has seen quite a few, from everywhere in Yorkshire.

There is absolutely no pressure to describe yourself as anything. You can be interested in sigils without calling yourself a wizard if it doesn't resonate with you and that's completely fine! I made this video as a guideline for those who wished to learn about some of the different ways to practice, as some people find it easier to describe their craft and themselves with something more specific, but it's not everyone's case! No matter the tool, intention is the basis to any spell. Sigils is a form of spelling and its own language, it can take time to master. If your heart is calling you to dive deeper, I say go ahead! And if at some point you wish to take a completely different route, that's ok too! Life is not linear and should not be limited to only a few options! I know not having a clear direction for our life journey can be stressful and scary, but it is, in a way, a blessing in disguise, as many opportunities to choose the life you want tend to arise at that time. It's a bit messy and confusing, but it's an opportunity to start with a clean slate, regardless of what you are and aren't ✨

I'm 32 and I just don't know what I'm doing, to be honest, lol. I hear Grant Morrison talk about Sigils and Hypersigils and they seem cool and I want to believe it can work. I'm a storyteller and I'm just having a hard time with my life right now. I'm an Existentialist at heart. I would try anything just to get my life together.@@WyllowNorth
