- I present to you my latest acquisition, the Dreadbox Nymphes! I wanted to show you guys how good this synth sounds. Especially to make retro sounds, brasses, pads and eerie stuff. I'm definitely going to use it in my productions, from darksynth to industrial and synthwave this little guy can do it!
Thanks for watching :)

A short, sweet, and straight to the point video. Sounds like a great little synth. Thanks mate!
hey thanks for the support man! I hate (too) long review videos haha 🤟
Love Dreadbox, a great company which deserves support and success! This is a revolutionary little synth, and a great choice for anyone entering the analog polysynth market!
💯 For the price, it's ridiculous how good it sounds, I think the only downside would be that it's mono...But a bit of chorus and reverb make it sound wide enough!
nice video.
the nymphes seems cool too
hey thanks!! yeah it's sounds great, I love the fact that it's analog and have 6 voice polyphony. For such a small synth it's pretty rare in this price range :) 🤟
I got a used DeepMind 12 for $390, that was a better deal to be but it's still very cool though, 6 voices is quite good at this price point, and the small size can be useful in some cases
Yeah Behringer is killing it right now. I'm looking at that pro-800 👀. I try to convince myself that I don't need it....*add to cart*
When you get the pro800, can you sell the dreadbox to me?@@Tonepusher
What have you bought in the end ? I find the DM12 sound thin and don't like Pro 800 flavor, not that powerful following all the vids I could hear. While the Nymphes moves me deep inside everytime. But the UI seems way to repulsive :/ How do you like it ? Are there other analog polysynth contenders apart from those 3 ? Ah yes, Prologue and Minilogue, the former I don't like, the first a bit expensive@@Tonepusher
@@calcairecamhi Ngl after 3 months I don't use my Nymphes as much as I thought I would. The interface is not very user friendly... If I had to choose I would go for the Pro-800! But I've seen people having problems(bugs) with it.
Well I went Nymphes, have it since sunday, I'm fond of it ! The UI had been easy to learn for me. Not a big issue as I'm used to shitty submenu-diving (nothing to do with swimming over dinner tables haha)@@Tonepusher
And it sounds great to my ear and taste.
Had Behringer Model D before, I kept it 48h. Monophonic and no presets is not for me.
It sounds wonderful, but it has stiff competition now in this price range with the release of the Pro-800
100% ! I'm currently trying to tell myself that I don't need the pro-800 😬
Good point. But Nymphes sounds better than Pro-800.
@@Heavy_Distortion Yeah well, I guess it depends what you're looking for. I think they have two different tones. I do have a thing for that oldschool pro-800 look though haha
Both and get nymphes second hand
