Umbrella Cockatoos are the #1 Parrot in Rescues. They are loud, crazy, toddler like wild animals that can live to be 80 years old. Cockatoos along with all Parrots do bite! Once again, cockatoos are WILD animals. Please do your research before you purchase/rescue any Parrot! If you decide you are a crazy bird person like me please Adopt don't shop! There are so many in rescues that need a wonderful home!!

I would really like to work with people who take care of these beautiful babies. And need people to open their homes to these beauties because i would.
They are always needing volunteers. Do a google search in your area. Unfortunately, the closest one to us in 2.5 hours away or I would be there all the time!

Great info on the rescue process for those not familiar with it. I used to make home visits for anyone wanting to adopt a Dobermann to assess if they were suitable, as the dogs would be located in different kennels all over the country or as fosters. Then the applicant would do the visits, so pretty much the same process. Hi Ozzie ❤️

I seen some people on you tube that wants to go to pet stores in India to get the birds out of the pet store I told them that they needed to report that pet store in but but they didn't want to they just wanted to buy the birds in the pet store.The birds looked sick.i lost subcribers because of this.you have a blessed evening
There are so many breeders! It is so sad, parrots are wild animals and belong in the wild!!
@@ozziethecockatoo5902 yes it is so sad but the sad thing a you tuber was promteing the breeder and when I told the person to report the person in they didn't want to they wanted to go buy all of the birds and bring it them home.

I would never ship a bird the rehoming is stressfu enough. Try looking online for rescues.
amazes me people would bring something that is SO unpredictable and loud into their homes! no wonder there is a crisis w parrots!
Yes, this is why I stress parrots are WILD animals! In my opinion they should be in the wild, but unfortunately people continue to breed them and sale them as pets. Then they end up in rescues because they are WILD animals! This is why I am so passionate about helping these parrots!
