I used that Kesa Gatame so many times when I was a teenager that totally subdued my apponent in street fights without really beating them up unless they tried to bite me! My dad Encouraged me to get into judo before he taught me Akido and more advanced stuff 😊Best thing I ever did!!!🎉

My computer will only show me the first 1:15 of this video and for some reason it is on repeat.
I was always taught that throw differently, I was taught to do a little hop backwards to get your hips in the right position and I was taught to bend the knees, you wanna get your hips lower than theirs so you can basically pick them up off the ground by straightening your legs. Makes throwing them over a whole lot easier because they're already off the ground, you don't have to pull them over with all your back and core muscles.
