Chelsea v Man City (Div 2) - Commntary by John Motson
Sunderland v Ipswich - Commntary by Alan Parry
Was in the shed …. Man City fan incognito….. Alex Williams was brave that day ✊
You were brave that day too, but I take your point about Williams.
Time for a little Kitwatch:
- Chelsea showing a bit of gallic flair with their Le Coq kit, though Stamford the lion showed it best. I'm guessing the lack of a sponsor means that they're in between their Gulf Air and Bai Lin Tea phases on this occasion.
- Man City and Ipswich showing that you can't go wrong with pinstripes, even though the designs are a couple of seasons old.
- Oddly enough, Sunderland's 83/84 kit doesn't look any different from their 2023/24 kit. Given the choice, I'd rather choose the one with the defunct car dealership than the one sponsored by a betting exchange site that no one has ever heard of.
- Is it me, or did Hearts actually wear black shirts?
Hearts wore gold lamé not black
Manchester City like a yellow shirt here and there. Not just the time at Highbury
I wonder what Jimmy Hill would think of var
15,000 at Sunderland wow they would get that for a reserve game now
Rare to see Sunderland on MOTD.
This was the last match i went to with my Dad, who was a Huddersfield fan, but had been taking me to Stamford Bridge for 10 years. He died on the Boxing Day, a couple of years older than i am now.
