@@jordandiaz7605 We say this EVERY year and yet I've never played a single CoD game that has had consistently good spawns. In every single game there are maps and modes (usually objective modes) that have truly abysmal spawns that are never truly fixed.
On scud I got killed by someone who basically saw me spawn in front of him and then when I spawned in again the exact same thing happened by the same dude lol. Spawns on Derelict and Scud are wank
It's really weird watching Ace's gameplay vs my experience so far. 90% of the lobbies have been constant spawn flipping against movement gods that dont miss. I'll give it time since I'm still getting used to it, but it's kinda disheartening considering I atleast felt above average at MW3
It's a beta, the avg skill lvl of players is going to be a lot higher cause not many casuals are going to be on this. Bare in mind Ace is most likely a lot better than you are so of course his games are going to look much easier in comparison.
Really? I've been playing against "bots" all day yesterday. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I slayed (was top fragger) every lobby, but I did not experience any of the super sweat I'm used to seeing in CoD games. People actually missed shots against me. And I hadn't experienced that since MW2019's beta. And yes, people slide and dolphin dive left and right, but it's usually in the worst ways possible. I've had people literally dolphin dive AT ME, lmao, it was hilarious.

I don't agree on the aspect of the SMGs. Literally the Jackal SMG is just really strong, definitely meta, probably OP. It's a 4 shot body kill at most ranges. As an SMG with a high fire rate. Despite that, most of the other weapons are just fine. The XMG LMG is unironically really good.
@@casualxxgamerxx9662 it's a game mechanic it's not something that needs to be fixed. No other call of duty besides the new ones have that happen it's non-existent in MW2019
I honestly don’t understand how people really are hating this game as much as they are, it has some clear flaws, especially the sbmm, but every single new feature they added feels natural. Also love the mix if more realistic and arcadey artstyles and overall, I’m personally already super happy with how this turned out and am now just excited to see the zombies and the campaign.
Honestly let's keep the attachments to just be mainly pros from here on out. I know the whole point of gunsmith is to weigh the pros and cons but they bloat the attachments with so much junk people generally only use one or two in each category. Now you can actually pick different attachments without the drawbacks.

If that's the case then the pros need to be strongly nerfed, or limit gun to 2 attachments.
Massively prefer it like this. When it's loads of attachments with pros and cons I just mostly ended up putting on a red dot and leaving it at that lol
I'm of the opinion if we're only do pros we have to go back to pick 10. 5 attachments that all make the gun better w no downside is wild compared to a player who doesn't have attachments for a gun yet

If they actually took off last year, I truly believe the community would be loving this game so much more. But the only real changes is the movement it feels just like every single other COD that’s come out the last 5 years. It doesn’t have that Treyarch feel anymore. @feelsgoodman420 I just got it to level 25. 💀 I think the server's are occasionally inconsistent or it may be the gun itself but it becomes a monster once you get the long barrel on it lol
I feel like the maps are the weakest point of this beta. Even though they're three laned, they're very open and you get shot from literally everywhere.
And what’s what’s so frustrating with the quick TTK. They need to increase health to 150 and add body multipliers. You should be rewarded for diving and people not hitting their shots
@@lebronjamesfromdwade4103 Yeah, I don't agree with being rewarded for exposing yourself. But I think they just need to add some walls on these really open maps to make them a tad more linear, especially with this movement.
@@K.Y.L.E. agreed, there’s some weird design choices with verticality where there’s like 100m sight lines on small maps, with the janky spawns that’s gonna really annoy some players
The motion sickness has multiple causes, the deathcam being one of them but another major one is the fact thay removed anti-aliasing options. The current AA they use is temporal meaning it causes motion blurring. Its subtle, but it's enough for people to get eye strain & headaches. Vanguard reduced the options and MW3 removed them entirely (thanks SHG).
Good to see you here Hybred. My number one complaint has to be the TAA implementation. Right now I have to use DLSS to get good FPS but in the future, it'd be great upgrade and go back to something like MSAA or even just FidelityCAS at minimum. Its really sad to see the team at IW Poland ditch good AA methods while having an in-house engine that doesn't need to follow the industry standard garbage TAA UE5 is pumping out.
@@pbandmayosandwich3208 forced TAA is a different kind of motion blur, more subtle, and it cant be turned off. Its easiest to notice it when looking at something while holding still then moving forward.
that would do it. i knew the game looked more smeary than usual, but just assumed it was because of some kind of upscaler. forced taa really sucks, and i hope they add options later
The Jackal PDW seen in the gameplay is a prototype gun in real life. It was invented in the 1990s I believe in Russia, only a few examples were ever made and they were chambered in many different calibers. It's actual name is the Gepard (Cheetah in Russian) PDW.
Loving this game so far and agree on the cons you mentioned. Also I have some weird glitch on PS5 when after the match is finished, it kinda loads, then black screen, then loads and its in the neverending loop. That can be fixed by holding O (slide button) on the controller.
I’m glad Treyarch didn’t give up on the Best Play system. It looks really polished here, though I will say I’d like the ability to toggle between Best Plays and Final Killcam, this is still very acceptable.
@@AC-hj9tvNah the weird camera movements and bobbing is extremely nauseating and this is just watching it. Been playing games (including COD titles) for the better part of 15 years and this is genuinely the first game to make me feel motion sickness & nausea.
Might just be me, but I nearly NEVER hear footsteps until they’re RIGHT behind or right in front of me. And I have great hearing and I use amazing headphones.
Same, although I use a quality surround system instead. I don't see 'Dead Silence' or anything like it as a perk you can load so I wonder if they're deemphasizing that in this release. I personally like Dead Silence and the ability to sneak around and also hear footsteps better around me as added intel.
Ngl the game feels so nice with the movement and autolean. People are going to cry no matter what. But as a 27 year old I'm not too great with movement like these younger players lmao. But I still found myself getting 60+ kills and >20 deaths a game. To me the movement just feels like a nice quality of life.
They went for smaller maps but honestly I think movement system would work better on slightly bigger maps. You expect the corner dives more often vs being able to catch people more off guard….”I know somebody around this corner” vs “damn I didn’t expect him to be right there”
I think the human shield mechanic should allow the captive to mash a button for 5 secs to be let free, and once let free they have an animation where they push the captor off and both ppl get access to there weapons at the same time so it’s even, don’t think they should hold someone for more then 10 secs
I agree 100% with the score costs, I find myself running both dispatcher and bankroll just to be able to get my streaks consistently. Now imagine the game on launch when the matchmaking is set in stone, and suddenly, scorestreaks are looking really unachievable! (as a console player)
Absolutely agree. The tactical sprint could use some tweaking. Despite the players jump diving corners, nearly everyone that did you managed to kill with no problem. As an older casual player, it just feels like to many buttons to have to push just to get killed by someone who is properly posted up.
I like that you can challenge someone by diving to the side and getting cover at the same time if done right. You can also slide to the side around the corner giving you the upper hand
As an average player - the movement speeds are something I am so thankful for. A lot of the times especially in MW3, I can't even see or track other players while they run circles around me. It's easier to actually and see and shoot people in this game.
When the trailer came out everyone said no one is going to dive backwards down a flight of stairs to escape an explosion/dive while shooting pistols at each other but I have literally done both of these things on day 1. The omnimovement feels rad as hell but the tac sprint animation with the trex arms is ridiculous but also funny. I really like the maps (AND MAP VOTING!), and while Scud seemed bad at first, switching to the Swat 556 made it play well for me. I cannot resist the urge to immediately dolphin dive into the pool on Skyline from the upper floor. Derelict is great for Hardpoint. I will say that I am a casual player and I don't care so much about sweating so I get paired with other casual players just looking to enjoy a fun game. This undoubtedly makes the game 100% better in my opinion, since occassionally when I had a few leaderboard topping games in a row I'd get flung into a lobby with butt-sliding, hypersonic movement-ass dropshotters which sapped a lot of the fun from the game. The RCXD is so fun to use, and I often find myself sitting in the middle of a hardpoint to ambush attackers or chasing an enemy RCXD across the map which gave me a good laugh. The shotguns suck and the 2012 quickscopers have returned to some extent which sucks. Overall I'm having a ton of fun with this Beta.
This game feels significantly slower than MW3. Diving isn't that useful in fights. Id be fine with them either removing tac sprint, or speeding it up to make it useful.
Thank you for the content, I was very excited for this COD throughout the video and I had some hope, however right at the end the moment when you mentioned that the matchmaking is the same as the previous COD games I changed my mind right away. I'll try the Open Beta for sure, but I am never spending my money on any COD game as long as they are keeping the same SBMM matchmaking system that puts me in sweaty lobbies when I am only trying to have fun and chill in unraked. XDefiant shall fill the gap for the time being.
I agree with most of your points, one thing I personally found surprising that you didn’t bring up is the rc-xd I feel like it’s painful to control, movement feels so floaty and you almost always lose control of it because it always launches into the air. It feels like your driving an actual mini car than the usual rc-xd where the car generally drove in the direction you were using.
I loved Cold War way more than MW2019 but the movement was definitely a downgrade from that game. BO6 feels like Cold War with peak movement. I love it.
Fr that's how I feel I thought I was gonna hate it until I played it for a few hours once I got used to it I was doing really good and having a good time the only thing that disappointed me is the bad maps they are like mw maps instead of 3 lane maps like treyarch
Naaaaa the SBMM/EOMM is fucking cranked up. My first game I went 8-25 and it only got worse. I stoped playing my 4th game. It’s going to be bad just like Mw2 (2022). I have gamepass so I’ll use this game for Campaign and Zombies like I did with ColdWar
I’m really enjoying my experience so far. The maps are great, if, perhaps, a little small. Would have liked to see a *slightly* larger one here to test too. Movement feels great. Guns are fun. I'd like to say you make a great point about pairing omnimovement with body multipliers being gone. At first, I didn't like the idea because it takes away the skill gap when someone can hit your foot and do the same damage as a chest shot. Plus it was a way to balance guns with some needing just 1 headshot to improve TTK etc being baked into their overall power. But with people diving all over the place, getting rid of the multipliers actually does make sense and keeps the game more balanced.

I'm basically completely new to CoD (some Bo3 zombies and bo2 way way back). But for the last 2 weeks I've been learning Apex and before that I was comp in SoT. The movement system is really fun once you understand how to play it, there are trade offs to moving too much and your positioning relative to enemies matters more.

At 14:00 Finally someone else is actually talking about the meatshield mechanic. As a camo grinder myself tbis will he one of my biggest turnoffs with the multiplayer which will likely keep me in the zombies mode only. So far i haven't personally had this happen to me yet but 8 have done it a few times and i found it was very clunky to use initually as you need to ve within huggong distance for it to work and 50% of the time the game will think your trying to melee them or perform a finisher but there was a setting to switch buttons with finisher so you can use meatshields instead of finishers. Another big concern i have pers9nally is of they add really toxic camo challeges that require getting kills while using a meatshield as this mechanic shouldn't exist to begin with sure there is a 20-30 srcond timer for the meatshield but most players like me will easily be scared away from the multiplayer mode because of trolls intentionally doing nothing but this the entire match.
I quite like this bèta (Series X plus Game Pass Ultimate). But today i have a lot of 'update restart required' bugs, where i constantly get that message in a loop. Only solution is to quit the game and restart. Hope they ad more maps soon, 3 is way to little and I don't like the Scud map.

@@ThisIsWar_ seriously, when people try to defend the decision to remove them because a few people are making swastikas and strippers, it’s such an easy fix. Look at how quickly the cod community forgets the last 5 years of cod titles. Look at how gullible everyone is to buy bo6. Omnimovement does not take away strict sbmm in casual multi-player. Why is the cod community so excited over a movement mechanic? Why is this community so content with mediocrity?
The hyperfocus on competitive play and skill gap is ruining COD. Also, the TTK is too high @2:21, you engage and hit about 5 of the around 11 shots you fired, you then naturally stop engaging because ofc he should be dead, but he is not. TTK should be right at that natural pause. There are so many time where I am engaging a target and have that natural pause moment but still have to engage even after hitting 5 or more shots. I hate the unlimited sprinting in all of the new COD games now and the tactical sprint. I wish they would go back to the way original MW 1 or BO 1-2 was when you had a normal speed and then a few second sprint. The new sprint mechanics make the maps feel so much smaller than they are and if you can sprint across the whole map within 20 seconds then it makes the respawns much worse and more congested which means you are more likely to instantly die after killing an enemy or killing that same person again after they just spawned.
Wow, the attachment system looks abysmal. the camera shake on death is nauseating
The camera shake in general seems jarring. MWIII had the best subtle head shaking while moving around.

I cannot say how much I love watching your channel, man. ❤

I'd like to say you make a great point about pairing omnimovement with body multipliers being gone. At first, I didn't like the idea because it takes away the skill gap when someone can hit your foot and do the same damage as a chest shot.

I’m having a blast!!! Spawns are a$$ but the game feel GREAT!
SBMM is crazy. My lobbies are filled with beta sweats. I just got dominated by Futives
I love the ability to be able to run backwards. It feels like such a small thing, but as a slippery player, who just stays alive by dodging bullets I love it. I've been in situations where I'd normally die because I'd have to 180 to run and move I can just sprint backwards and do the same things in reverse. I'm alive roughly 10% - 15% more now, and where that doesn't seem like a big number, as a mainly assist player meaning my job on the team is to do damage and be a nuisance) I can feel a big difference. I'm a guy who normally has a 1.5-2 k/d and that hasn't changed, but my assists are way up. On a game of hard point I'd normally have 15 assists in this game I have 20 plus or feels like it. I still don't know how to actually look at the stats in this game. Anyway I'm enjoying it q lot, and I haven't enjoyed a CoD since BO4
OMG vertical attachment UI! Never thought I'd be excited about cod ui but huge QOL improvement
Playing Squad and Insurgency makes CODs sound design sound so fucking bad 😂
PUBG does too
Everyone I spoke to in the pre-game lobby said everyone feels like bullet sponges when I ask them if they like the game / what they think about it. (I'm on PC so mouse players are the ones I'm speaking to)
The TTK doesn't go well with the movement.
I’m on console and everyone I shoot are sponges and can’t kill a thing, but I get dropped waaayyyy to fast and “apparently” I get killed with only 4-5 shots according to the game
On controller and console and it feels like the ttk is a little too slow.
Bullet sponges is a massive stretch 4 bullets is enough for most guns. Hit them shots.
@@mikeyplayzwrld massive stretch is crazy. Some people are taking so many bullets my warzone ttk reactions are kicking in.
@@mikeyplayzwrld I would rather just ask for better pacing. Super fast movement and longer TTK is bad game pacing. Good for esports I'm sure, but I don't play ranked. Nor do most people.
Doesn’t even feel like a product of treyarch, mw3 (1990s) edition is what it feels like… copy and paste from last year gameplay/movement wise in my opinion. Miss the arcadey treyarch movement from previous black ops games…
I can’t speak for others but only for myself and this is just my opinion. I love it! Things just feel nice and smooth. I can’t wait for launch.
Just played my first round, movements going to take a little bit of getting used to, but my first kill was a finishing move so I’m pretty happy. The game looks so much more visually clear and vibrant too
Look at how quickly the cod community forgets the last 5 years of cod titles. Look at how gullible everyone is to buy bo6. Omnimovement does not take away strict sbmm in casual multi-player. It will not stop 100 dollar store transactions. It will not prevent cheaters from running rampant within a few weeks. In 1 month, after all these youtubers stop gargling Activision all because they got invited to cod next...you will all be complaining about this years title as well.
Which will only be worst without headshot damage.
Just say your shit and move on lmao
You’re saying this like it’s something new. Black Ops games always have a higher TTK. Enemies are usually around 150hp compared to MWs 100hp.
@Ohaygoes aww little Timmy good at game...he thinks people care if he good at game...Good job lil Timmy, go rank up that battlepass and unlock gold camo for the 100th time lil Timmy, Go!
@@92-till-Infinity I was referring to Call of Duty in general regardless of which sub franchise it is, but sure even if it has "always" been like that, which it hasn't, that's not a real argument. Okay, lets just keep it that way, its always been like that.
@@92-till-Infinity Also, Treyarch and Sledgehammer always has the most balance issues with weapons, you ever wonder why?
Games crashed 4 times in a row, gonna lower settings and test again before the end of the day. Been enjoying it mostly, new movement is great just gotta get some key binds fixed to make it feel more enjoyable and fluid
Hey Ace, i’m probably gonna be in prison soon, I got a 3rd DUI in 10 years. So I probably won’t get to play BO6. But I just wanted to thank you for your videos, theres something about your voice that makes me feel like you’re one of my homies. I love you man, thanks for all you do!
Just reading through the comments to get information for my next video, But if you have 3 DUI you need help bud, What ever is driving you to that point please take the time to talk to someone, Before you take your own life or the lift of someone else. Help is there just reach out.
It's another Cold War situation where half of the attachments are entirely useless and nobody will ever use them, meanwhile the best extended mag is the only one anyone's gonna use. Plus the grips and whatnot are all copied and pasted gun to gun. Cool beans.
Not even Tony stark could spend as much time and effort to complain about a good system.
@@mikeyplayzwrldnah he’s right, cold war had this issue with the attachments being the exact same in pros and cons, while looking just a tiny bit different and it was awful, while i like having unique attachments like mw2 and 3 even though most were pretty similar to each other they at least were different to each weapon make and class. Cold war was just the same commando foregrip and grip tape that looked the same and same effects on every single weapon in the game. Bo6 is suffering the same way.
@@Nixon_47u kids dont even know how grateful we are to gave simplified attachments back instead of having to scroll through 100 muzzles sorting out the one that actually works
@@hayeswiggins1476 who’s the kid? Bo1 and bo2 and bo3 made sense with the simplified attachments, bo6 is just copying directly from cold war’s attatchment system, copy and pasted attatchments that look the same on every weapon make and class type.
1:30 - the same is NOT true for jumping and shooting. Only those with back paddles can jump. It’s broken and favors those who have extra $$$ for more expensive controllers.
Play claw or switch jump and left bumper
@@legendarien1075 Thanks for your comment and thanks for verifying what I said. The mechanic is broken if you HAVE TO PLAY a certain way or you need a special controller in order to be at a competitive level. Thanks again.
All you said was having extra $$$ will give you an advantage. He gave you a couple viable money options to be on par with them. And you change the goal post. Just adapt and move on.
Just gotta adapt
@anti-matterfamilyclan7237 If jumping is a broken mechanic then of course you should optimize your settings to use it easier. Tacticals are rarely used, so it just makes sense to designate that more accessible button for something more useful. Just think of it as 'fixing bad default settings'
Wish they’d have made more of an effort with the weapon licensing, C9 just doesn’t hit the same as an MP5, but it’s not that big of a deal, game feels solid
HK doesn’t own the license to the mp5 anymore. Thats why you see a billion clones of them. Treyarch doesn’t have to pay anything to get the rights to the name
It's not weapon licensing, it's California laws prohibiting them using real weapon names.
@@thebesttheworst2277there is no law that prevents companies from using real guns or names in a video game in any state
@@bradenmchenry995 Look into it, it was all over Reddit a few years ago when MWII launched with the 'Lachmann Sub' etc. instead of MP5 and that's when they said it was due to the company and HQ being in California and some act or law prohibiting the advertising of guns to kids or such.
@@thebesttheworst2277yes I’m very aware. That law has been enjoined for a long time now. It was ruled unconstitutional
yeah i have high hopes for this one. i haven't truly enjoyed CoD since Black Ops 4, so it makes sense that it would take another Black Ops to make CoD enjoyable again. MW 2019 was fine i guess, but Treyarch just gets something that IW doesn't, idk what it is but their games just feel and play better in most cases
Movement? 3-Button->Settings->Movement->Sprint Assist (make selection)-.X (expand)->Sprint Assist Delay (I set the number to 0, put it where you prefer. It's defaulted waaay too slow).
A definite game changer for movement. (GrandpaNooby video).
