Thanks for the comment! Yeah it was a public server on namalsk I like to play the most vanilla modded maps possible as I feel those are the most authentic dayz kind :)
It was on a fairly vanilla namalsk server at the time as I recall. I don't really enjoy on playing on heavily modded servers. The more vanilla the better. Guess I was just lucky? :)

My first day on namalsk, I started to death kills 30 zombies didn't found any food on them just flashlights & batteries.

The best part of DayZ by a million miles. Being able to meet random strangers in game. Talk and group up.
Makes the experience so cool!

I think for now namalsk is my favorite map after chernarus. Its hard like you said but definitely prepares you for all possible survival elements
What server is that?
Servers I really enjoy playing on are Spaggies or DayOne for Namalsk personally. KK is also a good one but quite tough PVP wise.
