I love all the logic that goes into this game. All the steps you have to take to do anything. It offers an extra level. And then an inland body of water in a frozen waste land.... isn't frozen over.
the edges of the ponds are actually frozen (can see pieces of ice floating), and filling bottles/canteens at them gives you frozen water. And there is indeed a small frozen lake just north of Athena-2.

i love Namalsk. ran into my first bear, got killed. went further south to the snow peak, saw a bear b4 it saw me, shot it, it charged and got me but i killed it with my 12 gauge slugs, then a pack of wolves attacked with 3 bleeds stacked lol...gottem with my .357... and barely escaped with my life. flashing red health and blood. always a cool adventure

Just as a tip, You can get on top of stuff and hit them as long as it's not a heavy blow, light hits don't push You off and deal the same damage to the head, just move backwards after the hit input and you'll stay almost in place. Hope the tip works and love the vids.
the "event" must have been a stalker referance? soundeffects etc from emission/psystorm, love it! This was truely a very intense life and kept me on the edge of my seat several times!
That intro was great! Shows how fragile life in game can be! I'm only about 5 hours total in my Dayz journey and I can't wait for that moment me and some stranger I team up with and become close friends with and on our journey he gets head shotted while fishing or sitting enjoying a fire lol. Such crazy moments and doesn't seem like there is anything like it. I'm about 2-3 hours in on my most recent character and feels so great gearing up a little bit and just staying alive. Even tho it's on a low pop server I couldn't survive past an hour in my previous few lives
By the way, that camp at 30 mins can be looted around the zombies using a bit of stealth. Done it a few times. Maybe the odd one sees you in a tent and you can take care of it. Otherwise, my tip for that area is that there's a tiny shed to climb on nearby and you can load up your single shot and clear out the zeds from the roof on bullet at a time.
@@TheRunningManZ yeah your situ was dire. Well, one other tactic I had when I did have a gun (but sparse ammo) was to shoot a bit aways from that camp to draw them into the woods, and lose them. Then inch my way back. But another great tactic for anywhere with a big shipping crate... ring the dinner bell and climb on the crate. Stand near the back and all the zombies rush inside to find you. Then you can stand over the doors and (it takes a while to get the 'F') close the door on them from the roof! Did that in Vorkuta last night. Trapped about 10.
i acctualy managed too stay alive in the namalask winter in the forests by camp fire but eventually i died due too my axe getting uined and fire put out, now im aiming for a house in the outskirts with a fire, i LOVE this map, so much better then all the others. W video btw
I love this video. I know it was frustrating being stuck up there with all the wolves and zombies but damn was that entertaining! One thing that really kills this game, is the aggro right now. I love the difficulty however, it seems like all of the other zombies aggro just because you are trying to kill 1. What I mean is , there is no more Stealth when killing zombies because your character Grunts when they melee. Grunts are extremely cringe and arcadey.
I watched this live I suppose it's like going to the match and then watching the highlights on motd later, that was mad at the end tho and I've seen snowballs fly right through someone's head without hitting them I know it's not the same but the principle is, awesome adventure Paul as always you put a shift n half in that night great fun 💪💪💪
