The nice thing about how succinct this is, is it doesn't get the viewer lost in the " waint, how did we get here? I've been seeing this for 5 minutes with no frame of reference" situation of longer, rambling videos. Very clearly shows the big picture. Thanks.
The design definitely changed by 07 1/2 models. My thermostat on the 2GR-FE is on the left, above the accessory belt. Even the Haynes manual is off for the location for 2007 and up. Says it’s where you have it in the 3.3s. The newer design is metal as well.

Why is nobody mentioning a gasket for the housing. Does not appear that mine came with one. Does it need one

This is not for the 2007-2010 Toyota 3.5l V6 2GR-FE. The 3.3 l V6 was replaced in 2007. Your replacement will only apply to a 3.3 l engine.

The 06-10 have the 2GR-FE which is completely different than the 3MZ shown in the video. The video does not cover 08-10 Sienna
