It feels like this came out yesterday. I remember everything about this beta and I really miss these days of Call of Duty. This game was so much more fun and casual than Black Ops 4. Including the zombies mode. It just makes me so sad that BO4 turned out terrible and I honestly wished that they could just make more content for this game. In my opinion, Black Ops 3 had the fastest life cycle ever for a Call of Duty game.
Fastest life cycle? They straight up kept adding new stuff to bo3 like a year after infinite warfare came out. Granted it was just supply drop weapons and a few new maps but most cod games don't get that kind of support after it's year long life cycle is up.

It seems like nowadays it's a love or hate thing on CoD. I think I'm like the only one that's like "ehh whatever, Im still buying it cuz I like shooters, and I've been on CoD since CoD 2." Yea it's the same concept: run and shoot, that's why a lot of people hate it, BUT at the same time THATS WHY PEOPLE LOVE IT. Lolol

This is official information btw; Ghosts was actually the most played game upon Xbox Live after it's release for a fair while. People actually spent more time playing a single session of Ghosts than any previous call of duty's as well...
A lot of people got peeved because it looked so 'reskinned' especially certain similarities between it and MW2... *cough* certain cutscene *cough*
Bear in mind though the sales where only down a marginal 19% which within CoD games doesn't even cause the creators to panic...
No CoD game fucked it up in all honesty..people are just bored of the same linear game play, Advanced Warfare introduced new mechanics which were beyond awful ( they barely work ). This put more players off, Bo3 ( having played the Beta myself ) Is actually a refreshing change of pace in the cod market. Not the best cod but the best since black ops 2.

BTW i don't know if it is my impression but now the game have a delay to register shoots,at 6:07 it instantly register the shoot different from now,and this changed after a patch

Also Guns sound beefy and look heavy, the graphics look great and the color pallet is very easy on the eyes.

Overall, I'd say that this isn't a bad stand alone game. But as a Call of Duty, it really kills the franchise by straying away from the initial concept and bastardizing it with yet another future warfare game that alienates the base of the initial fandom. We long for the old days of Modern Warfare that taught the youth of America about the art of contemporary killing with concurrently used weaponry that's still used in combat today. Nowadays it's fictional weaponry that's based on the expectations for the next generation of warfare as an offshoot from what we still see today. Not to mention the use of power armor we may never really even see used en masse by any military. The original games themselves and World at War were initially about the heroism of those who fought in the historical events of WWII, meshed together with realistic fiction. Modern Warfare was realistic fiction that would turn into science fiction with it's following titles. Now it's just absurd science fiction.
+C PT I don't know about you, but science fiction is bad ass and nothing is impossible. Don't take that out of context to spite me. True MW did have realism alongside it, with its amazing storyline but science fiction's futuristic stuff just has something that intrigues people, makes them giddy. I suppose it's the reality that these fictional objects could one day become real. Surely not in our lifetime, though.
Arctic DemolitionXpert I think they should leave it to the professionals. If I wanted something sci-fi, I'd stick with Halo, Gears of War, or Killzone. I never bought CoD to play something out of a glorified Orwellian future. I'm looking forward to *Homefront 2* more than this. If anything, I'll probably be renting the game off of GameFly to only check it out briefly.
C PT Alright, suit yourself, I see this game having potential with fun DLC. I was never really a big fan of Halo and Gears of War Multiplayer because in Halo you can't aim down the sights and Gears of War is in 3rd person. Movement always felt awkward.

Keep in mind too that those are also completely different games made by different publishers which is why you might've not felt comfortable with the non-CoD feel. But I digress. You can also get a similar, if not better, experience from the Deus Ex, System Shock, Titanfall, Planetside, and Quake games. >_>

Alonzo Flames No, the specialists stuff is actually EXTREMELY good. You could bring this up and call it a futuristic CS GO (now dont take me too literal, just a comparison). The problem is however; while the classes provide lots of competitiveness, the problem is that CoD players like myself love the game for its rush and arcade. I am not for competitiveness, i do not like trying to play seriously around CoD where i have to be really quick and know my awareness, i like to run around and just shoot people, die and have fun. This will tune down alot with the classes, those who are competitors have a huge buff basically, while us normal players wont have the mindset and just rush straight up and git rekt.

I used to be so bad at call of duty until I started watching u about 4 months ago... Now I'm always dragging my team through matches
So excited to play this game!!! Advanced Warfare was fun and I'm going to miss it so if anyone is interested they can maybe check out DTC which is a series I created where I basically do a road to commander (RTC) series in Advanced Warfare to basically give the game a good send-off before the black ops 3 hype train overcomes us all haha. If that sounds cool, please give it a shot and then we can all enjoy black ops 3 together :)

Yep free for about 7 seconds, then you have to wait for another few kills . Good players can still kill them with enough skill and reflex though.
