@@markgalicic7788 if you see that paper on the control panel I got little cheat sheets for whatever size we are cutting for the gangsaw. The gang has 10 blades in it right now cutting 7/8 1/8 for each blade For. 4 pcs of 7/8. We cut at 4 1/4 and so on up to 10 1/4
It broke off all 44 sawbits missing 20 shanks and broke off I would say 9 or 10 shoulders of that actual saw so it really could be fixed but new shoulders need to be welded on in the exact spot or the saw will vibrate then it would have to be hammered Taking a chance if it will ever run true again We have brought them back to life before but this one would likely be the price of a new saw once you do all the work new shanks and bits
@robertgreen8695 Yes we have the shoulders welded on. Then send it out to be hammered if I have enough sawbits and shanks I will put them in if not the sawshop will do that
@robertgreen8695 but also need a old saw to cut the shoulders off to repair another saw and this one all the shoulders are gone even if it’s the slightest bit. The sawbits will break off if there’s nothing directly behind it for strength
@@brucehobbs1734 the headsaw cuts 8 to 10k a day depending on size of logs we get a lot of small logs 13 inches and smaller get up to 24 inches if it’s poplar or red/white pine or beech all cants go directly to our Brewer Gangsaw and it also cuts another 8 to 12 bundles of cants on top of whatever is sent by the headsaw

That's one hell of a rig you got there. How much physical damage was done to the blade after the dog attack?
