Amazing build but at the end of the day it comes to skills. I got purple gear on my 2nd character that I made and I just slap in arena. It’s all about reading the opponent skill combo and always checking their stamina bar mostly to guarantee a painful stun which works most with hitting them with a couple heavy attacks. Craft via gorgon essence. Max crafting will help you get your daily prismatics which drastically decreases the cost of acquiring the gear since you don't need to buy the prismatic mats.
Blooddrinker's -25% on top of heavy equip load -15% base damage is too much of a dps hit to be worth it with this load out. I've seen other heavy players find success with bd+serenity.
thanks for the video, but unfortunately it is intended for those who already have something! how can a new player become a tank? how to assemble such a set? what gears should I start with? what perks should I use at the beginning?
Start here fellow tank: ruclips.net/video/RprX63Krd7k/видео.html A great budget/alternate set would be the Syncretic set from the Brimstone Sands area or the Frigid Dawn set from Glacial Tarn mutations.

@Studyingforme-m6o We're on different servers, and yes we have on the PTR. He's more of a 1vXer so it was a clean sweep for the Omni tank. Respect to him either way he's a stud.
@SavanRPG PTR? Bruh ppl be rocking random shit on PTR. I thought yall have dueled before. Now I gotta see yall duke it out for real. Throw JamyFowl in there too for 1v1v1 😂.

How does the haste part of hasted vigor work? Does the speed increase or haste duration increase with having multiple pieces with it or does only the damage reduction from dots increase?
I swap shield out from time to time but Ankh+Stam Recovery is solid vs any match up. Slash protection is great until you face someone who runs 0 slash damage then it's a dead perk. If need be I'll swap to a regular amulet with divine+health+protection I have one for each damage type and I suggest others to do as well.
So why Trsna Artifact over other possibilities? Am a fellow Tank main and enjoy what you are doing but I did Odo/WH and the knockdown effects just seem...subpar.
Trsna is a very accessible 725 artifact hammer that's good all around. The lifesteal vs knockdown enemies is nice but just icing on the cake to the beefy sustain kit it has in lifestealing+trenchant recovery. Other than Trsna there aren't very many named hammers you can craft with trenchant recovery+sundering clear out. You'll need to make a gorgon wh for that and that's very costly.
@@SavanRPG what about the Trsna, you really get that much value using that over going with a 725 hammer with two offensive perks or even the Mojnir for the 20% damage boost it gets?
@@ryanabrams947 great question, it's a great sustain hammer that's pretty accessible and cheap compared to a crafted 725. I do plan on making one in the future but it will require another month of grinding for gold/mats. As for Mjolnir. It's a solid WH, with a not so solid weapon perk imo. Mighty gavel is not great, no cc, mid tier damage and Mjolnir itself is mid unless you're min maxing the build with lightning harnessing, and lighting runeglass on all of your armor with lightning damage on ring. You have to really be committed to the build to make it work and that's not something I was nor currently am interested in. Maybe in the future if people want to see that. I did put together a lightning harnessing set back when it was released and after all that it was underwhelming. I think Mjolnir is best on medium with The Azoth Conductors.

I mean looks fun but nowadays people just run no way catching light armor with heavy armor and with the high decline of melee because range has aimbot it’s not that good I think.
@@juffe_h1666 With the sandlion Tarsus and having near max haste on demand it's very hard to run away from this build. Of course there are some builds that no one can catch. Double light dodge, stoneform and rapier escapes. But for a tank this build is super fun to play.
@@juffe_h1666 As good as this tank build is at catching light players vs other tank builds. We shouldn't be able to catch them all that would be too strong. We call this balance.
Strictly preference brother, I say try both. Some people like to do big damage and some people like be in the thick of things. If you like playing as a heavy armored melee warrior give tanking a try.
Anything is strong in the right hands. If there wasn't counterplay to it I'd agree. The issue is too many players waste abilities and light attack into the shield when they should be heavy attacking. Also blocking can't kill you so there's no threat there. You're looking at highlights from a day 1 pvp tank so I understand where this is coming from but I die plenty to players/groups that know how to fight the shield.
I'm new to New World. Im an old eso pvp vet. I'm enjoying range build, I've noticed how bad damage over time can hurt even tanky players. @ Closest thing we have for sns/wh is The Butcher sword and Hoplite WH. Other than that you will need to go Spear or Greatsword as they have more dot supportive playstyles. Venom spear applies dots with heavy attacks and GS applies bleeds but they still don't compare to ranged builds like bow/vg/fs that can apply dots more effectively.
I use them interchangeably. For group play I use VDP as I can get heals from my healer bros. For 1vX I'll swap to SC to get that double buffed pot in a pinch. Both are great options. The Justice earring can replace SC and you can go VDP+Justice if you don't have Ankh.
