Some of the teams have their own channel and videos where you can get more info, for example Audi. But yeah it is super annoying how little coverage there actually is. A 10min migth be enough for one class but is not nearly enough for all classes together.

It's not because they cannot translate. It's because in english speaking worlds it becomes an expectation to use soft language. Basically it means you cannot say negative/bad things. And a broken wrist is bad for a racer, therefore you lie.

Agree 100%. Is he psychologically mature enough yet? Clearly, he is fast. You don't have to win every day, just be somewhere in the top 10 every day and natural attrition will move you up. Then, deep into the event, reassess and make your move.@@RogerM88
Can someone explain the R2 (rally 2) standing for the top classes? Some people are considered in those, some are not? I don't understand the 2nd leaderboard.
If you mean the w2rc leaderboard I think that that only shows competitors who compete in all world rally raid championship events and the total championship.
Dakar is part of a championship with other races throughout the year, but they allow competitors to enter only for the dakar and not participate in the championship. The other races are Abu Dhabi desert challenge, Ultimate rally raid in portugal, Ruta 40 in Argentina and the Morrocan Rally

Dakar riders are from a different planet- watching them ride is anxiety in active mode.
If Nasser stayed at Toyota, he could be probably leading by some margin. The new car, seems to be managing better avoiding punctures.
