Good simple and informative. No unnecessary fluff. Just the way I like it! Thanks!
Thank you! I’ll keep ‘em comin !
Great comment about double-gasketing on the oil filter. I have that t-shirt. I did a first oil change on friend's new Jeep (Hemi engine). Factory puts the oil filter on dry, and I missed that gasket was stuck to block. Did the oil change and friend drove away - but came right back when oil pressure light came on. Luckily no damage other than huge mess. Learned big basic lesson.
Lesson learned for sure! thanks for the comment, yeah you only have to learn that lesson once lol
Really enjoyed the way you unplugged that drain plug sir. 😊
we’ve had some practice ;)
Awesome vid my guy. Definitely got my sub!! Good luck with the YT journey, hopefully you blow up soon!

I had to pause to subscribe right after your sound effect, just prior to the Ninja pull
hahah thanks rob!
Thank you!
You're welcome! glad you enjoyed!
Good video, would recommend to first do the oil filter until its just dripping then pulling the drain plug, lets air into the oil filter housing and dirty oil from there drain to the pan :)
Absolutely, I do the same on most cars, just didn’t have another drain pan handy and did it backwards lol. Good advice though! Thanks for watching
@@DayOffDIY saw you do it on that 330i where it has the plastic oil filter cap
Is it pretty much the same with the L5P ? great video man
great camera angles
thanks! tryin to keep it fresh
All the angles ;-)

Where in NorCal are you located? Awesome content
On the north coast below the oregon border
I like you video
thank you!
I see you don’t prefill your oil filter. Any reason why? Does it hurt to do so?
Never felt it was too necessary, spoke to my diesel mechanic and he doesn’t think it’s necessary to pre fill oil or fuel filter. You can! But I dont
I have the same truck and I noticed your oil pressure gauge was reading near 90 at idle. Mine shows about 20 at idle and around 60 under throttle. Is that normal or is my gauge bad? It wouldn’t be the first Delphi gauge to take a dump in one of my chevys
Depends on if the truck is cold or not. A few gauges have failed on me too, had to solder in a new motor for the Speedo, still need to do the tachometer
@@DayOffDIYjust did mine and it’s doing the same thing. It’s also making a rattling noise now. Is that common?
rattling? hows your oil level?!
I need to replace my oil pressure sensor. Where is it on that 2003 6.6 duramax
never replaced it! sorry i dont know
I have a 05 gmc lly and it does not show fuel filter life
thats odd, mine is an 05 too!
