- Our version of "Life Goes On" (Exams Music) from Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 performed live at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Sakura Matsuri 2019, on April 28, 2019. Originally composed by Shoji Meguro, this arrangement by Patrick Bartley.
Well, by the time of this video posting in May, a lot of you should have already finished your school year - or even graduated! If so, congrats! There's nothing like getting done with a really hard test or finishing a long paper and then handing it in, then rushing home to play Persona 5!! Haha, well... jokes aside, this is definitely one of our favorite performances of this song, and we had to include it in the set so we could leave room for Adam to do what he does so awesomely (can't believe that's a word). Matt gets a spotlight, too, with his killer moves and grooves. And listening to Patrick's sax solo here is sure to skyrocket your Guts level...

You’d be living the game at that point. Imagine walking down a quiet street and hearing beneath the mask in the distance.
This is why I'm so happy to have my concussive headphones, they make you hear the music by vibrating your cranium, but they don't block your ears, so looks like ambient music because you still can hear the surroundings, it's pretty awesome.
Man I just love the fat bass line of Life Goes On. Puts me in some kinda mood every time.

The sound quality on that stage was pretty great. Pat plays that sax like a dragon spitting fire 4:27 you got some talent.

I love the Jam session 2 because the bass player Max Calkin tone and chops, obviously no disrespect to Mr Neely. But this key board player is incredible. Also shout out to the guitar player, he is usually a bit quiet, but hes smokin and CLEAN in everything iv seen him in from J-Music.
