This song was a nod to Goon Squad by Deftones, it's roughly the same riff!
When my cousin first showed me Calcutta and others from that era, my worry was they would become a bit "samey". I dont think I have ever been so wrong in my life and been so happy about it
The formula of this song was inverted compared to their "usual" songs. One of my faves for sure!
Leo is literally me listening to Sleep Token, air drumming the entire time🤣
One off their first full length album and the heaviest (at least on Sundowning). People love this song for the lore implications but I'm a fan of the change in the middle and the vocal effects/sound design right before the go back to the beginning sound is *chefs kiss*.
