Hi Sadie, hope you're OK. Thanks for another interesting Breed Study. Love the shades of blue , of the Blue Faced Leister, that you've been combing. An appropriate colour for the Breed Study. Take care & stay dearest Spin Sister. Love & hugs Jen xxxx
Hi Sadie Thankyou so much for the Heart Reply ❤. You look so much better today than you did Tuesday and Wednesday. Its surprising how having to go out, takes it out of us. Take care & stay safe. Will chat on the live, really enjoy the fun. Love & hugs darling Spin Sister ❤ Jen xxxx

@@sadiesspincraft6319 I just started using jars to dye and I'm loving the results very much. I bought a bunch of food colouring too and all my alpaca looks like cotton candy now :-)
Thanks for that. I enjoyed the history lesson. I’m a new spinner and learning a lot from videos. I might treat myself to some BFL although hope I don’t like it too much as I’ve a ton of Shetland fleece from my own animals to process and use! 😅
Bfl is nice and so is shetland but I have so many different types of fiber it's become an obsession lol I hope you get to use your shetland and enjoy the rabbit hole your falling into hahahaha I went into this hole head first most just jump in feet first hahaha
@@sadiesspincraft6319 Guess its more of a slippery slope driven first by my love of keeping animals and the oppurtunity to borrow some small field locally. I had a spinning wheel as a gift late 70's but with no one to teach, no you tube, and babies arriving followed by living out of country for 20yrs meant it lived in various attics till recently. Now with amazing online resources etc and producing my own fleeces I'm well on the way to spending the rest of my life spinning, knitting etc. And loving it. I'm also a foster parent and taken on an allottment but hey.. who wants to be bored?!

One of my favourites.
Yes mine too xxx
Those three colours are all gorgeous. What did you do to the raw wool before colouring - was it just soaking? X
No I just put it in the jar or pan and thank you xx
I love those colours so much!! Did you use acid dye? I can't wait to spin mine up now. It sounds so luxurious :-)
Yes I used acid dyes but I did them in jars letting them sit for a couple of days then heat set them in the tray in the oven x
