Bonkers expensive. I could afford one, but wouldn’t want to pay for the depreciation.
“We are Ducati, we ride as one” sorry, but that’s just conceited nonsense. Never understood the one-make mentality. We are all bikers. We don’t need people placing themselves above other bikers. We’re an endangered species as it is.
Have a friend who rides with the local Ducati Owners Club regularly. I can’t join in because I ride a more reliable Honda. Stupidity.

Conceited? I don't think it is, I don't see anyone placing themselves above other bikers here, its just a Ducati event. Theres plenty of other chances for all bikers to ride together. I'm sure if you were on a Honda Owners Club ride out, I suspect your Ducati riding friend wouldn't be joining either?

It's merely a clever marketing exercise and many brands do similar events. There's nothing wrong with a bunch of bikers meeting up to talk about their (same branded) bikes. Me, I just don't like the herd mentality, all brand dressed etc. Reminds me too much of the Harley Davidson crowd.

Yep the branded clothing is not my thing either (I wore the Ducati jersey with my tongue firmly in my cheek 😉) But hey if if makes someone happy then why not.

@@mancavemoto Generally, wouldn't go on a Honda owners ride out. And the difference with Ducati is their owners club events are typically a regular weekly thing. They choose to ride only with owners of the same brand as a rule. Don't get me wrong, I love my VFR and wouldnt mind attending a one-off anniversary event or similar, but for me to think 'no, I only wish to ride with VFR owners' would be kind of ridiculous and pointless.
And, clearly, Ducati Club members face the jeapordy of moving to another brand of bike and losing their weekend riding friends in an instant.
Each to their own. Love the channel btw!

Beautiful bike, but with sub 40mpg I can’t see it being a great touring option . Great video 😄👍

"Bikes with soul" says the Ducati-man. Well. They HAD soul when they had L-twin.

What fantastic weather you had for the day, the classic Ducati was the star for me.

Got a Ducati and a Yamaha, enjoy them both. I definitely get a lot more compliments when out on the Ducati though 👍

I have 3 Ducatis and am the branch rep for the owners club in my area. so I am well indoctrinated. Be careful they are addictive 😂

I’m pretty comfortable financially but I would never ever buy one of these. I have a Gen 3 Busa which I bought when it was just over a year old for three grand less than a new one and a two year old Honda cb1000r plus which I bought when two years old for three and a half grand less than a new one. Both were very low mileage and one owner. I understand why people would buy a Ducati but for me am happy buying Japanese bikes and having two very different but fast and fun bikes. Both bikes together cost less than the Multistrada. I would add that as a cash buyer I am able to buy my bikes outright and from talking to different people it seems that most people are not able to do this or prefer to buy on finance and change their bikes regularly. With depreciation and finance charges this is a very very expensive way to go. This is not the way I do it and would be interested to hear other peoples opinions on their choices and their thoughts on Ducati ownership.

Same here, I can’t afford to spend that kind of money on a bike, and you can spend a lot less and still get what you need. But I understand why people do, and if it makes them happy, who’s it hurting? 👍

If I was buying a Multistrada I’d go for the V2s

I really like the V4S, but still not enough "extra" to tempt me from my 1290S.

For sure. Personally I’d go for the V2s if I was looking at a Multi

Nice one Tony. I’m not as yet a Ducati fan but my taste in bikes do change on a yearly basis! I hope to see you at Goldtop on Sunday for this years DGR .
Ps love those interviews with the owners at the end. Cool 😎

Hi Jamie, Cheers, I’ve never owned a Ducati, but like you maybe one day. Sadly I won’t be riding the DGR this year. Have fun and I hope the weather is kind

Some great roads round there. Met John this last weekend, sorted me a test ride on the DesertX Rally, no fuss even though I just turned-up on the off chance. Top bloke!

@@mancavemoto Absolutely loved it, but unlikely to buy one brand new at £19k!! Looking to replace my Multistrada 950, have tried the Aprilia, and taking out an F950GS this weekend. I’ll settle on something one day😂

I think the Tuareg is a very underrated bike, and you can pick them up new for a really good price.
