I love how HHH is passionate about NXT. He really did build that brand to what it is today. His love for rock & metal has fit the mold so perfectly that Vince could never. His awareness on how fans feel about the product is exactly why most of us believe Paul Levesque should be the man to take over whenever Vince steps down. Much respect to HHH. He's done so much for the business and in turn a lot for the fans.

Triple H is right, I've looked up multiple bands I've never heard before AFTER hearing them on NXT.
To Triple H, I would like to make a small request-
Many years ago, a Black Metal band called Type O Negative created their own version of Kane's entrance music, entitled "Out Of The Fire (Kane's Theme)", a song that came from Peter Steele, who was a big fan of Kane. The song is instrumental (no lyrics), so there's nothing to break any ears with cursing, and the FCC gets all upset.

I love NXT even more when Triple H brought the enigma and dark artist *Poppy* to sing both new songs for her new album (2020) and enter the ring with Io Shirai, who is a total fan of robotic-slow-turn-human *Poppy.*

Poppy was always so creepy, and I wasn't a huge fan of her for the longest time, but when she put out I Disagree, It definitely caught me off guard. I'm now hooked.

I got into hard rock and heavy metal because of WWE PPV theme songs and video game soundtracks back in the day. Through WWE I got into bands like Saliva, Alter Bridge, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Three Days Grace, Nonpoint, Skillet, and once they used Metallica for the No Mercy 2008 theme I developed my own separate passion for heavy metal.
Triple h have one of the best and coolest entrance music in wwe. The mighty motorhead ☺

HHH is the reason I got into Motorhead and to this day they are one of my favorite bands I can listen to anytime anywhere.
Also the very first wrestling merch I ever got was the DX dog tags that I begged my parents to buy for me online. Imagine a 10 year old kid trying to convince his parents to buy dog tags featuring the crosschops and the asses hanging out in the back of the tags lol

Always made me feel like a wrestler was legit when they had proper, instantly recognisable entrance music. I think that's overlooked far too often, and it's one of the things NXT gets right regularly.

The analogy is so good. It's funny how I was not so much into metal but indie music when I was younger, and my 2nd passion came with wrestling, and NXT was my favorite soon as it became hot (Neville vs Bo Dallas was the first match I remember). It felt the same, like indie music, small venue, passionate crowd, and a raw performance.

This is why Triple H is the goat! Not just because he likes metal music but because of the way he talks about the future talent, up and coming wrestlers and musicians. He isn't one of these guys reliving his glory days he has no problem stepping back and that's what makes him great.

I agree all what Triple H said about music and performer and I would love him as my boss. Not to mention that I agree what types of music you listen to are broken down to what you like vs you don’t like and that’s it. And I use to role play to wrestling games and I made my human self as a wrestler under my human alias which is not Bruzo Dragonius. I am a metal head myself and I use to have songs from bands like Anthrax, Bullet for my Valentine and Shadows Fall as my theme. But if I could’ve had access to the CDs I wanted Killing in the name of by Rage Against the Machine or Psychosocial by Slipknot as my theme as a wrestler.

As an AEW guy, I like how NXT and AEW are seen as alternative brands from RAW and Smackdown. Even though NXT and AEW are “competing” they both are great and show that it’s a great time to be a wrestling fan.
