The door is not broken at all, the first position will open just the upper side, the second the door. It's the same in all Europe. It is funny to see how all Americans are puzzled with that 😂
@NooksBackpack Yes, you open only the upper part when, for example in winter, you want to "change the air" (an absolute Italian obsession) but outside is cold and is not a good idea to open the entire window 😉 Hope you liked Italy and that we will see you back soon. I'd give you you a tip hard to find on RUclips, for obvious reasons. In one of your next visits, don't go to the big ones, check Italy's small medieval towns of Tuscany, Marche Umbria and Lazio. Half the cost, few tourists, no traps, no pickpockets, very nice people. You will discover another planet and will thank me. Ciao 👋
I saw that quite a few times, stick with Tuscany and the smaller towns, but for our first time I figured we should see the big stuff. Gives us an excuse to go back!
@@NooksBackpack Of course if you didn't you should but be careful: 2025 is the Holy Year and in Rome we espect approximately 60 million people from all over the planet. I'm Roman and I'm scared just thinking about that 😨
I love the way you folks just explore as you go. So mellow. Great father.

Yeah, I realized that afterwards. It seems so strange at first, but it's kind of a neat feature.
