I'm using an old Hotronix phieonix that I bought in 2007. It's still a good solid heat press. 300⁰ was too hot and I wasted a bit of material. 300⁰ would crinkle the adhesive backer and the foil material would be singed on to the garment. I kept adjusted my temp down and found 220⁰ made it look as easy and as good as this video. Zero holes in the design. As of yet, I don't know how well the design will hold up over time.
This isn't working so good for me I'm having to tape it down to a board because it's not cutting right and picking up in places. Mine does have air bubbles in it
It's a inexpensive product but you can mess a expensive garment up . I'd like to see a few shirts made live with different blanks with out the video edits
