As a Purdue fan since 1958 Robbie Hummel has been one of my favorite players to watch play. Hearth broken that he had such serious knee injuries throughout his career but seems he has made a nice transition to broadcasting basketball games. Good for him!
Thank you for choosing Purdue. In my opinion Robbie is the best all around Boiler there's ever been. The glue. I'm 46....started with Lewis, Mitchell, and Stephens. Steve Scheffler. Big Dog was the Beast. All through these years Robbie was my favorite to watch and root for. And Im not the only one.

That's a great story!
I knew Purdue would win it all, I believe Robbie was the greatest Boiler of all time, unfortunately the injuries occured.
What program told Robbie they didn't think he could play in the Big Ten?
I’m going to guess Illinois lol
