@@RecoveringBookHoarder you’re welcome! I live down by Cincinnati and Keepsakes is my lns but I like going to Cross my Heart when I am in Columbus/Dublin Ohio for vacation.
Animals are awesome and so is Imager by L E Modesitt Jr., really most of his books are really good and make me think but I really enjoyed this one because it was in first person
I just finished reading "The Hidden Life of Cecily Larson" by Ellen Baker which was fascinating about genealogy and circus life in the 1930s. And I'm currently reading "The Princess of Las Vegas" by Chris Bohjalian which is shaping up to be a terrific read much like his other books. Animal
Fabulous episode!! Really enjoy your work & the shelf behind you!!! I find something new every time I watch! lol. I just read/listened to The Silent Patient, by Alex Michaelides - omg, it was a long one, but I really enjoyed it! Animal
As for books, if you like epic historical fiction with some romance, check out Sara Donati’s Wilderness series. She just published a new one that you could read out of xorder, but the whole series is so good that I recommend starting at the beginning.
The baby stitch is adorable. Love your variety of stitching. I enjoy your book reviews. I only do audiobooks now. I get most of them from Cloud Library and Libby. There’s always a wait list on the audio books. I’m going to check on the ones you recommended. Recently finished The Teacher from Freida McFadden which led me to read others of hers. Hope your surgery went well. I’ve had injections twice in both hands for trigger fingers and surgery is going to be the next step. Which I’m putting off as long as I can. Haunted
Thank you! Surgery went very well…got the stitches out Tuesday and it is healing very nicely. I get most of my books from Libby, too…such a great app!!
@@CindyEsler_Whodatgrammycrafts I did get your address…and yes, it did go to my junk mail…I check it every few days, though, because I feel like there is no rhyme or reason to why things are sent to junk 😂. I am planning on making a trip to the post office this week to send out. I will email you when it is in its way.
My cats love to cuddle with me while I stitch. Do you have any animal companions? Book recs: The Secret Wife by Gill Paul, Yours Truly by Abby Jiminez, and Other Words for Home by Jasmine Warga
I do not! All of our pets live in the water…hubby and daughter are allergic to all things that don’t live in the water, LOL! Thank you for the book recommendations!!
I just heard your comment that you love octopi. Have you read Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt? I read it last year. It was a 5 star read!! If you can get your hands on the audiobook, it was expertly narrated. I highly recommend!
Have you ever read The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden it’s the first book of the winternight trilogy and I highly recommend the whole series it’s full of adventure and Russian folklore
Haunted! Love it! " The Paris Daughter" by Kristen Harmel- soooo good!!
I have read her before, but not this one…will add to my list! Thank you!!
Yooo! This vid is 🔥!!!! Subbed & bell rung. Keep it going!

The Silent Patient was excellent!! His newest book, The Fury, however, was SUCH a disappointment!!
