Well congratulations! I was shocked at first, but then I realized that you are absolutely correct about how many original hours are on the 400. The tires on the tractor are Armstrong. They stopped making those tires in the early 80s. Check on the side of the tires, most of the time there is a casting date on the tires. Google how to find casting date on tires. Again congratulations on your purchase I believe that it's possibly the lowest hour tractor that you'll ever have. Like you said "it's a gem".👍
About 20 years ago, an elderly neighbor told me shortly he passed away to forget about putting your money in the bank. They will find a way to take it. Buy guns and old tractors. He was sure right. Congratulations on both purchases today.
I'm trying to hoard some Farmalls myself but I'm sadly lacking your pace of acquirement, lol .. I figured you for the 450 but can't fault you at all on the 400. Both top notch looked like.
You’re still at it LOL! When I fist started produce and feeder steers farming back in the 80’s I bought a Super M and a Super A off a lady who’s husband passed a week after they bought them! Took em home and gently started them up! Ran em for years
Congratulations Gino. Nice 400. I had a 400 wide front, traded it along with a '64 706 diesel for the local dealers 1st 1460 axial flow combine in 1978. I replaced the 706 with a 67 706 gas. I have like the 67 better than the 64. I do miss the 400. That 450 looked especially sweet, and as you know the fast hitch is bolt on, so it could be added, but you ran it up plenty. There will be more
You got the western fast hitch with the front cylinder and bracket on that tractor! A lot of times that front cylinder bracket gets taken off and tossed or pitched in the scrap! I got a tractor that I need one for, 400 propane!
Nice buys. We don’t see anything like that where I live. If we do they are much higher to buy or are total train wrecks. I had to buy a CaseIH needed to work now. I love it,it’s been a hard working machine for me. Still dream of owning an 706 or a 806. I do own a 1948 Cub and two A’s. Take care.
@@FarmallFanatic I am from north central texas. All the farms in this area are small family farms. Tractors are smaller. Most of the farmall we see are M’s and H’s. I started farming with a 504 farmall. Needed something bigger. You do what you have to, like I said CaseIH has been good for me.
Congradulations on the 400 it was the best of the bunch, and that plow you stole it for that price. That looked like a fun auction with some great deals, those Fords and Olivers are really great tractors. It looks like that guy had alot of pride and really took care of his equipment.
Congratulations on a nice 400. I pulled a 3 bottom like those with mine and it handled them good at 8-10" deep. I'm in Virginia and I have a little bit tighter ground than you do in western PA. Can't wait to see your videos when you get it home.
Great minds think alike. My money would be on the 400 wide with all the bells and whistles with plow. I was correct. That’s exactly what I would’ve bought out of all of those. Nice buy.
That 400 was my favorite of the bunch. Something I might consider is to send that original tach someplace to be redone since it’s a little rough. But then it may not pass as original, tough call.
Excellent Video Gino :) also thought did super job bidding price plus get 400 Farmall tractor and plow too for good deals ! Also other ones but always tried in future hoping have what want get Gino ! Red Power Boom 💥 👌 💪! Do ever seen a 232 Farmall tractor gas one Gino at any sales and why ask my east neighbors on home farm area was a there big tractor on there farm not sure year was also more specs about but was not a row crop front but do remember was Powerfull!
You have 2 point fast hitch equipment already so buying a tractor made sense. 3 point hook up was pushed as easier to attach but when they were showing the old 8N putting on tools it was perfectly lined up and a small implement was easy to budge. A four bottom plow does not budge that easy.
Firestone shows 14.9x38 field and road as a current offering on their website. I got the first bead mounted on my 450 today, need different tubes to complete the job.
Good day FF Did u not see oil on ground from 450 being run Now JD 60 compare to 400 row crop no comparison , 400 far better for field work, actually the 960 Ford 3pt, lpto, was best deal, especially for blowing snow Thanks Good luck
You done fine. the plow was a great deal for YOU! The 400 will pull it. I'd love to see what that MTA would bring over here. The two I seen sell over here went for $9k each. Both of them.
In the guessing game, I was right when I said "the red one", not a red and white one :) all red! You might wanna round up a short steering kit, cause the factory wide front does take 2/3 of an acre to make a circle.
Very nice 400 and plow. Now find a guy with an Oliver Super 88 and do some comparisons. Very similar tractors in the power department. I really like the Waukesha 6 for baling hay though. That IH 4 just isn't as smooth with the pto. However, since you don't bale hay, I guess it's a moot point.
Well congratulations! I was shocked at first, but then I realized that you are absolutely correct about how many original hours are on the 400. The tires on the tractor are Armstrong. Yea I'm stoked 👍
I like your taste in red tractors!!!

I concur ✔️

I haven’t watched yet I bet the 450
Dam
I like it
My heart was on the 450 you did great
I'm trying to hoard some Farmalls myself but I'm sadly lacking your pace of acquirement, lol .. I figured you for the 450 but can't fault you at all on the 400. Both top notch looked like.
Yea both stunning
Great deal on the plow. Also a good low hour tractor to add to the collection.
Good job ! Nice purchase
Thanks
400 wide front you bought!!😊😊
You really got a buy on that 400! Congratulations!👍
Such a great tractor
That 400 is a great looking tractor glad you were able to get it I knew the farmer that owned the farm there he was a good man and friend
Yea Vern
A beautiful tractor nicely bought. Only 1200hrs!! That comes out to around 17hrs per year since new. Crazy. Good job 🍻🇺🇸
Yea shocking
And the addiction continues! LOL, That's a beautiful 400 for sure. I really like the wide fronts on the old iron. Congrats!
🤣 it's true
That is a beautiful 400 at a good price. You didn’t go wrong at all.
I agree. 👍
Congrats on the 400, you did good.
That 450 was a sweet tractor as well.
Well good for you .All tractors do about the same job BUT Farmall's dig deeper more grunt 😂
And look better doing it
Great tractor! Congratulations. Would love to see a video of your current fleet sometime soon.
I'll do a line up soon
WOHOO! Was gonna say I like the wide 400 best and you bought er!! I'd love that thing 😪
😁

We never quit 😁
Very nice tractor. I grew up on a farm and we had a 300 and 400. Loved those tractors.
Amazing how much power they have
Great buy on plow!!!
Thanks
Nice job Fanatic!
Hell of a buy,1200 hrs wow!
Those 400s are so pretty.
Agree
Nice purchase! In my neck of the woods, that's a steal.
Here too
I know a good Morton building rep. Lol
Nice buy on tha Fo Hunerd
Gonna need a few lol
Hi, Congrats on another Farmall tractor purchase. The 400 looks like a real beauty. Should be great for the up coming plow season. Have Fun !! Kenny
Thanks!
Ford 3000 went for the price of an 8N. Remember they bragged the engine for gas was designed for diesel first so it was tough.
I can’t take it I wish I was there
They stole that 3000, for sure.
Great job!
Brilliant price on the 4610, the fords were cheap compared to England prices, $100 for the plough fantastic buy.
Another great video boss👌
Thank you
Congrats! Hoping to get back to my 400 in Iowa for a stetch this summer - hanging with H Turbo.
Boom 💥 good times

For sure
You got a helluva deal on the 3 bottom fast hitch plow too!!
Yeah I couldn't believe it
Great buy. All the best 🇬🇧.

Yeah i'm so happy with this tractor in a multitude of ways

Good job! Thats my problem is I hate traveling.
If I remember correctly, the 400's and 450's were extremely solid tractors back in the day. Congrats on the 400
They definitely are solid tractors
I think you got the best one of the three. Not many low hour 400 Farmalls out there..
I know they say envy is a sin, so I guess I'm a sinner. Awesome buy!
Thanks 😁
Congratulations! Nicest tractor there!
💥BOOM💥

Definitely
1900 on that 901 was a good buy.
Yeah and did had power steering
The 4-fiddy wouldve been cool but I think the wide front 400 was probably the best one to get out of all of them
it definitely ended up that way
That 400 was the deal of the day, was nice talking to you today man!
Thanks man 👊
Congratulations on the purchase of the tractor and I really enjoyed the video of the Auction action
Thanks for watching
Congratulations. Good buy on the 400. Excellent buy on the plow
Hey Mr. Fanatic, Nice job on Wide front 400. good for you😀
Thanks
My favorite red power tractor is the Super M TA!! The other tractors are beautiful as well...
Congratulations! Nice tractor! Best wishes.
Thank you
Such a good looking bunch of red power up there. The 400 wide front is a really nice tractor congratulations
Thanks
That 400 with such low hours was a helluva deal
I'm still in shock
Nice deal on the 400 and plough 👍🏻
Thanks
You got a helluva deal on the 400 WFE!!...And IMO that WFE 400 was the nicest of all the Farmalls there!!
I think it might have been the best buy
@@FarmallFanatic agreed!!
That was my favorite one of those machines at this sale.. Good pick. And great deal on the plow for it!
400 WF, NICE! Good score!
I'm happy for sure
I think that is in a little better shape than the 450.@@FarmallFanatic
I would love to hear an interview of the people who owned or ran the tractors you recently purchased. It would be fun history
Unfortunately, most of them are deceased
Congratulations!
Awesome machine!!

Yup, and now I have a 3 bottom.
👍 You scored a nice machine. Awesome tractor.
So happy for you that you got the 400, and that plow was a steal! Congrats on a great auction
Thank you
Congratulations on the Red Power 💥 400 💪 really good looking tractor, and that was a great deal on the plough 💪👌
Thanks
Congratulations. Love your new additions.

CONGRATS on your 400!
Congrats on the 400! Nice rig!!!
Thanks!

A nice 656 wide front would make a good addition to the 756 and 826. If it's a Hydro, I would put the loader on it.
Yeah for sure
That was a good bye good deal
