Ferrari had not won in 10 years before Shumacher changed the team. It was an un beatable because of him. History shows that Button was no where near the driver.
Makes it through all those years of F1 relatively fine and then gets taken down by a freak skiing accident... cruel fate. I hope he someday recovers to live at least a normal life again.

truly well said, EVERYONE has the greatness in even a small minute thing, but schumacher is his thinking, his smartness, and his ability to "play God" meaning having everything under control. Senna is more like Kimi just pure natural feel talents.

I don't think it's fair to call him the greatest simply because he has the most wins. He was great, not the greatest. Senna was great. Fangio was great. I think Schumi was able to win 7 titles because the rules were lax enough to give a team with the biggest budget an advantage. Like then, Ferrari and Bridgestone had a partnership probably only matched with Renault and Michelin when Alonso won his double titles but all the other teams were at a disadvantage.
what F1 you had watched mate?. go again and watch all the season from 1996 to 2006. Mclaren - Bridgestone parnternship was the 1st sucessfull partnership. it was merc engines who got the most straight line speed. their cars were quick especially in 1998-2000. Alonso was driving that benetton from 2002 and it was 2005 when he finaly got the chance to the title. and that is also because of Kimi's bad luck and renault's extra horsepower.

senna is more of a good qualifier and schumi is better at racing..if u prefer to look at the statistics, it still proves that.senna have more pole position(64) than wins(41) shows that he is not efficient..schumi,although have less poles(68), but have lot more wins(93)..so,its the races that counts,not quali,,so schumi the greatest..he's the king of F1.definitely.
