MJ wasn't playing with a all-star former champion either. MJ Played defense was in shape. Wasn't flopping like a disc. Not the same guy. Not even close
Luka has to improve in some areas but the bottom line is that the Mavs do not have the depth that Celtics have. Boston is the higher seed for a reason. Mavs do not have as many ways to win as the Celtics. Everyone on the court for Boston has to be accounted for whereas on the Mavs it seems like it's just Luka and Kyrie to worry about.

Mj wasn't a flopper he played great Defense. Never lost a finals. Didn't loose a playoff crusade when having a healthy all-star alongside. Was always in great shape.

@EATMAN888 Yeah, let me help you out. If you read carefully, I only addressed one of your statements. I will make that point again. MJ complained to the refs frequently and often early in his career. How fouls were called changed because of how he was guarded, and how MJ/ Bulls front office complained about it.

Cap ! 1st, Jordan was never a defensive liability. So comparing Luka to Jordan at the same age is apples, to oranges. 2nd, I don't remember Jordan complaining about the refs.. He got beat up and He got in the gym! 3rd? It took 7 years to win his first title but Jordan, at 27 became the defensive player of the year! Question: in 2 years, when Luka is 27, do does anyone see Luka becoming DPOY?? Luka is a great scorer but he is defensive liability RN. In all fairness, to Luka's defense, Minnesota is a better match up for Boston than Dallas.
