@@HeyShadyLady I made the mistake of my reason for streaming being meeting friends. I was 24, 31 now and oof. Not a healthy way to develop my social skills 🤣 I just wanted meaningful connections with people who were interested in the same things I was. Instead, it was a stepping stone of people using my kindness for their own personal growth and fame. Still the same introvert looking for friends, just in a less public way now :)
it definitely helps to branch out, and i always find the more i have going on in my life outside of streaming, the more interesting i can be for streams, and the more energy i have
I quit streaming a few years ago because every social relationship felt so inauthentic. I streamed for 4 years. Worst 4 years for my mental health.
Couldn't agree more, it's really toxic for the brain airways second guessing why someone is talking to you 😔

in ancient life there were no such boundaries. its an industrial age phenomenon
Ugh yes, the double meaning and overthinking of everything! Feel that!
After 3 years of less than 10 viewers, I was so relieved to find other hobbies! 🎉

@@HeyShadyLady great point. Been diving into flash photography. Soon I’ll be able to share my learnings (make videos) to those that have yet to start.
Still wise words.
