My Dinghy sank! First overnight trip on my West Wight Potter 15!

I have owned my West Wight Potter for about three or four summers by now but this past October 2019 I decided to spend the night on it for the first time. I way overpacked and headed out to Lake Thunderbird in Norman Oklahoma. Sailing about one mile from he dock and dropped anchor just off of Zoom Beach. Within an hour my dinghy sank, I was swamped with bugs and it became a little cold. The next morning I was fogged in for about an hour after getting up, ran out of gas before getting back to my launching point and my rudder broke about 20 feet from the dock. Still, I would do it over again.... its always an adventure.
