    I have a weird hyperflash, it sometimes hyperflahses and sometimes it works normally. (ps bulbs supposedly have build in resistor)

      What brand bulbs? I have Lasfit and it does the same. Seems to happen more frequently when it’s hotter outside and left on too long.

    I brought some never used them, since I found a turn signal relay that has an adjustable resistor built in (can control how fast they blink via knob on the end of it) and there are also some made for LED with out adjustability.

    Just for clarification one goes to the ground wire and 1 goes to the turning signal wire.

    • @josuevieyra8851

      What if you only have those 2 wires? Is my car missing a 3rd wire for like constant 12v?

    • @Medicbobs
      @Medicbobs 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@josuevieyra8851 if you only have two than one should be power one should be ground. As long as you put the resistor between the two you should be okay.

    So the resister is not gonna short the circuit if it's connected to both positive and ground?

    Just installed LasFit LED Turn Signal bulbs on my 09 Civic LX and it hyperflashes ugh lol. Supposely the LED Bulbs have a Bullt-in Resistor, but it still hyperflashes lol. Gonna try this solution out! Thanks!

    Well, I added the resistor to one side of my RAM 1500, and I don’t have LED bulbs. The whole house thing is built with LED plug-and-play. I spent over $1000 for my setup, and I went to Napa and got the pair of resistors for $17. My diesel mechanic told me all I had to do is put one in instead of both of them. Although I’ve had some weird hiccups, actually I started having more hyper, flashings, and my whole housing shut off like stopped for a day. Now it’s working, and I have no problems. Everything works just fine, which puzzles me still, but everything’s working exactly how it should with no warning lights. No check engine light or nothing.
    For this phenomenon, I hope someone has an answer for it

    I need resistors all the time for my installs. Sometimes they need 2 resistors for 1 headlight/tail light

    I upgraded to LED headlights and now when I turn the headlights off after turning them on, they continue to flicker. Even after the car has turned off. After about 1-2 mins, when all power is cut off, the lights turn off. How can I fix this?
    (It doesn’t flicker unless it is turned on first)

    When would you install a resistor instead of changing the flasher relay? Looking at led bulbs for the rear and keeping the incandescent bulbs in the front of my motorcycle

    Hey I just installed brand new LED taillight assemblies on my Jetta
    The exterior lights don’t hyper flash, but when I use the turn signal the arrow indicator in the instrument cluster hyper flashes and my warning light for bulb out is on,
    All of my other lights are LED bulbs, I am swapping out the front turn signals with LED bulbs hopefully that fixes it if not I
    May need a resistor somewhere on the wiring

    @Flyryde what are ur thoughts on alla lighting 1156A - load equalizer resistor, that’s a plug play version and it came with 1156 connectors?
    Instead of clamp the wires, we just change the sockets to sockets and it’s a better plug and play.

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  3 года назад +1

      Use a test light if you need to, but it’s very common for one to be black for ground. The other wire you need is typically the thicker of the two remaining wires.
