amazing to see he did the robot research - no wonder his movements during his stand up were so spot-on with the repeating mechanics of his torso. He knew how you could do slight human movement but then ground it in robotic movement. His face never strayed from his body acting. It's truly a step-up in acting like from what Robert Shields did in the 70s. Then I guess urban dance and Aristotle robot on SNL in the 2000s. :-D amazing

after watching the Mr Zed thing, I hoped he had kept going and it's beautiful to see he was still thriving in Italy - that's amazing. Reminds me of when the Western movie stars went to Italy for productions.

Thanks for sharing this. First time I've seen David's own persona and heard his story. I've done a little voice work here and there and had my own radio show for a little while. It's an industry I probably should have pushed harder to get into and didn't, sadly.

Keep in mind when he said that he did Korean animated film for Italian companies they were most likely North Korean films.

Sounds like this dudes been in the real trenches of voice work....dubbing, german porn, religious propaganda...whoa. =)
You certainly tried your best to get back to the subject! But the off-topic talk was also interesting. Yeah...AI sucks...I hate that so many are getting on board and "creating" art and stuff with it without question. It devalues everything

Agreed. I absolutely hate this AI art craze.
