    *This video is not intended to suggest that AI can replace the expertise, skill, and judgment of an architect/designer. Instead, it's meant to explore the limitations of using AI to design and create architecture, and to emphasize the unique value that architects bring to the process.*

      why is this disclaimer necessary?

      @@jameslin7457 Hey, AI and its impact on the design professions is a complex and sensitive topic. I wanted to be clear about this, so there's no confusion. Thanks for asking!

      Lol, your video headline did, not the video. Did you use ChatGPT to create it?

    My experience with Stable Diffusion & control net has been disappointing. I expected it to transform my sketch into a realistic photo, but it failed to meet my expectations. Whenever I tried to specify some details, it could not handle them. I wasted more time using SD than creating the image in 3d. Very sad...

      Hey, I totally understand that. It is not really a straightforward process yet. It requires much trail and error. It can be useful in the early phases but it's not great when you want to specify each material or add many details.

    Great video, and good point, you don't want AI to make important decisions.

    First I was really amazed by all the new stuff that would help an architect to get good results out of sketches and f.e. raw 3d models.
    After trying several tools I got pretty acceptable results for interior renderings. But for exterior renderings based on your sketch it is far from getting usable content...
    I guess it needs some 2 or 3 years to get perfect and ACCURATE results out of it despite all the hype that's going on.

    Hey what plugin did you use to create the nature, when you drag the dots ?

    • @designinput
      @designinput  Год назад

      Hi, I didn't use any plugin for the terrain. It is just a mesh and I played with some of the controlpoints.
      -Mesh
      -Rebuild
      -Show ControlPoints

    Even if you can do that only with AI, there is an operator that needs to be payed for that.

      Yes totally agree, AI can help generate design options, but a human architect is still needed to make sense of the results and put them into action, it's no substitute for the insight and creativity of an experienced architect. A designer should implement the design in a way that meets the needs of the client.
      Thank you for your comment!

    Would there be AIs for after the early design phase. You know like turn a sketch design (lod100-200) to a more detailed model (lod300-400) in a few clicks?
    That would be nicest thing to have😅

    • @designinput
      @designinput  11 месяцев назад

      That's more tricky so the most logical use cases is for early design phase and maybe for optimisation in some specific cases

      Hey, that's right, it will definitely not stop developing but there will always be some limitations

    Its funny that many who are not architect think that the AI photos generated are valid for actual building. Lol, architect will use AI and be more productive for clients, especially those who do not generate AI photo by themselves.

    A number of stupid customers already think they're saving money by doing without an architect, and you're making the situation worse with this kind of racy title. You could have used another title for your video, because what you were looking for was to make money with this. But you're forgetting that, as was the case with many of the engineers behind the creation of AI who found themselves out of a job, you're pulling each other's leg. However, this is interesting, thank u for the video.
