- No more orcs will be betrayed. The Forsaken is a Special Scar Personality in Shadow of War!
The Forsaken, or the Nameless One, occurs when a Follower bleeds out. They lose all their torso armor and gain a horned helmet.
Requirements:
- Let a follower get killed in a battle. Unlike other special scars, this one doesn't require specific voices to happen.

I'm fairly conviced this one is actually meant to be Legendary, but something blocks the upgrade. Reasons? The Forsaken doesn't need specific voices to happen, unlike other special scars. Also, he continues to talk about Talion's betrayal during Nemesis Mission intros, just like Legendaries do. Lastly, if a Forsaken returns a second time, he will get upgraded to Legendary.
I believe there is some sort of hard code block to prevent your followers from becoming Legendary unless a card is used on them. This block could be messing with the Legendary status upgrade since the Captain is on your side at first. As it stands right now, I'm cataloguing this one as "Special", but if it gets tweaked to fully function like Legendaries, then I'll change it.
One last thing, there's only one more of these for me to show. Been trying to get it for some time, but it is one of the hardest. Don't know how long it'll take me to make the vid on it, so it'll just come when it does.

The story of my Forsaken is actually quite interesting. He was originally killed in the pits, so I resurrected him. He gained the helmet and title in the video, but was undead. I made him my overlord, and turned off my Xbox One. When I returned I was immediately ambushed by him, in the middle of my fortress to boot. AND, get this. He was no longer undead. He had somehow become a live, healthy Uruk again. I shamed him and found him out in the plains of Gorgoroth. Annoyed by his iron will, I killed him. (He was a tank with great strength, so it was a long fight). On his knees, he looked up and said something along the lines of “You may have defeated me, but I will never be yours again.” These words chill me to my core still, as my once undead overlord restored himself to life and betrayed me. While I’m sure it was a glitch or bug, Tuka the Forsaken, the Slaughter Tank with Great Strength, is a nemesis I cannot forget.
Is there any way to kill captains permanently? If there is one, please make a video about it.

Or if Talion was like "If you say so, Tuka." And the guy suddenly got stunned and confused that you somehow still knew who he was. :P
Interesting that some of his dialogue is very similar to Thrak Storm-Bringer's in the Alpha trailer.
How fitting that's he's an outlaw, since outlaw tribe is all about orc rights.

I think this guy should only happen if you left him to bleed out while having nothing else to do. Dying on the battlefield is normal and you shouldn't be expected to go rescue every single one of your warriors if you can't even rescue yourself
Nah, I've had one of these guys show up on me, and up to then, I had only ever had someone bleed out during a siege. I always tried to get my guys back on their feet, but there were a few who "slipped through the cracks" for various reasons (as in, I was too busy keeping myself alive to reach him in time, or he happened to be too far away when I noticed he was bleeding out for me to get there in time to save him).
gamester512 what you say makes logical sense, unfortunately even in the real world people can hold illogical grudges.
I had this happen once. I'm all about making stories with the Nemesis system, and, frankly, I tend to be cruel to a lot of my orcs: hitting them, forcing them to battle their Blood Brothers, and the like. So, when this guy showed up, I was actually really happy. I had felt that he would be a perfect archnemesis for me, an orc for me to have countless battles with, a true counter-balance to my power. Unfortunately, he died almost right away when one of my bodyguards "rescued" me, and he never showed up again.
I'm not gonna get into what happened to that bodyguard. Trust me, you're better off not knowing.

@@mistahjenkins4826 Then to ease some of those fears, I'll tell you a secret. I never actually did anything to that bodyguard. I might've messed around with some of the recently recruited or boring captains on occasion, but anyone I'd had for a long time I'd get way too attached to for me to do anything to them.
And considering I no longer have the game due to my disc drive breaking, that save file now sits at the depths of my PS4, where that bodyguard is safe from anything happening to him ever again.

I love how special scars are just common scars with voice lines that you get once per game. I also like how some just add on other common scars. If you look closely you can see scratches under the forsaken's helmet.

You sure? Any type of special orc has only appeared once for me as well, in a save with 50 hours in.

I got two faceless/ forsaken in my game
Once I had a very unique save from The Forsaken, he was an archer:
After the same scenario with the Forsaken shown in the video I killed him.
Later in the game at the Siege of Nùrnen I missed my “Last Chance” and have been saved the bodyguard Uruk “The Tower”, then I lost all HP immediately with no more chances, then “The Forsaken” showed up and said:
You may have forsaken me Bright Lord, but I will not forsake you.
And shot an arrow from afar at the Uruk that was about to kill me

I have a story about this scar. My Nameless one was one of my own, named Ushak the Watcher. He bled out during a fortress siege, I tried to save him, but I was surrounded by other captains and a level 84 Olog warchief, so I was stuck. We lost a lot of other people defending that fort, but we held it. As I was out looking for replacements, he ambushed me, and gave me the spiel about avenging other Orcs. I tried to brand him, but he had Iron Will. I had no choice but throw him off the roof we were fighting on. It was the only merciful I though of. I will remember you, Ushak.

Something confusing happened with the Forsaken that appeared in my latest playthrough. He cheated death a second time, and this time came back with the Baghead scar... but still had the Forsaken name and personality. And you said that if Forsaken cheats death more than once, he goes Legendary? That didn't happen with this one. I'll send a screenshot your way if you want...
There was this episode you made on shadow of mordor a long time ago were you manage to resurrect and recruit Ratbag with a glitch. Do you think it's possible, using the nemesis forge, to bring him over to shadow of war as your greatest follower?
I believe he covered this in his NF videos. Since Ratbag was brought back through glitches, he didn't show up in the forge no matter what he tried.

Why does this remind me of thrak stormbringer?
I got one of these when my boi Ugol the Shadow bled out when I raided a brutal difficulty Serigost,
1 I tried repeatedly to revive him but the last Warcheif downed me right as the timer ran out...
2 I couldn't bring myself to oil Ugol so I shamed him once and recruited him...
3. I one shifted the jackoff who killed me twice and killed my Chill, Ice Mountain and ruined my bond with Ugol for a split second... He was level 60 I was level 39 swan dived his ass from the Overlord platform
I've had a guy called Ugol the Forsaken AND a guy called Bubol the Nameless One in the same save.

Sometimes they don't. Depends on the scar they get. I know those with the slave brand can't get the helmet, for example.

You know I got this one though mine came back with a bag head as a legendary, with the dire caragor perk.
(This might be a bit long )Could someone answer my question? The question is is Shelob in this game? I heard she is but I want to know if she has a long time in the game because I'm really aracniphobic and I just can't bring my self to get this game if Shelob plays a major point in this game
She is mostly in her human form during the game and it appears in human every time you fail a story mission but the only parts where she is a spider are fairly short or amusing

If you ask me, Ryan? I˙d say go for it pronto, since well, when it comes to Shelob herself, Maw already toldya that most of the time you see her in her human guise, only at times you can see her in her spider form and she doesn˙t even attack you while being in it.

Uruk's Hollow how many times does it take for a follower to come back as the Forsaken out of curosity? I ask mainly because I've had orcs cheat death and not change into the forsaken.
Did this a handful of times before uploading this video. For me, the first follower to cheat death and betray me always became the Forsaken.
There are some captain personalities that will not change after cheating death. I want to say One Word might be one of them, among others. Also, deranged captains can't change.
Uruk's Hollow I see. Out of curiosity does is Black Blade one of those orcs that refuse to change personalities after death?

I got my orc named the head chopper get killed during a siege and got the same results but I had to reduce his level so that made him deranged but got him back in my army where he belongs
And I would like him better if was undead

You can Also have a chance of obtaining this uruk as an undead captain.
I resurrected my undead captain for the achievement and i was surprised as he shares the same appearance but he became "The Nameless One"
And even more obsurd is that he can actually talk as opposed to being incoherent with speech like how normal undead captains are.

Same, had an captain die then come back with an axe in his head telling me how he was thougher than he thought, then ran along and returned to murdering things. I liked him.
Alexander Lambert oh cool! Az-Ranz was blood brother with a Nakra the Ancient, who went into a frenzy, and KILLED HIM, so I shamed and shunned Nakra, and right after I reclaim Sergost in the middle of my new fortress, BAM Az-Ranz appears, a new metal arm, cursed mace in hand, telling me of his endless devotion to me and how ‘mere death’ wasn’t enough to stop him....fucking awesome.

How do I force a bleed out?
I got one of them early game, and it was even worse cuz I tried my damndest to save him, cuz he was a sniper with power shot, so he could kick ass. Couldn’t save him, and he kept coming back to haunt me all the way to lvl 50

If you do the ratbag glitch and get him as most favored follower in mordor can you get him in war or does it glitch out
