- Welcome to MercBenzKing! In today’s episode, we present to you the all-new 2024 Mercede AMG E53 Hybrid here in Lech Austria. For me it is special to see it with an ouput of 585 HP and 612 HP which links to the older E63. The new generation will not have a E63. This AMG E53 introduces the first time an AMG with Hybrid system. It has a special spec with carbon fiber and night two package 💎
Mercedes AMG E53 Hybrid: 585 HP up to 612HP at Race Start and 750NM. There for a 0-100 kmh sprint can be done in just 3.8 seconds.

The top speed VMAX with Performance package is limited to 280 km/h
The combination of the 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine and the permanently excited E-synchronous machine generates a maximum system output of 430 kW (585 HP) [at RACE START: 450 kW/612 HP] and a maximum system torque of 750 Nm. The performance is correspondingly dynamic: acceleration from 0100 km/h takes place in 3.8 seconds (saloon with RACE START, part of the optional AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package). The top speed is electronically limited to 280 km/h (saloon with optional AMG Driver's Package). Up to 140 km/h are possible purely electrically.
The E-Class has been one of our most popular models for decades and we want to build on this with the new E 53 HYBRID. The vehicle offers typical AMG driving pleasure with excellent responsiveness, great driving dynamics and a sporty design. As a plug-in hybrid, the E 53 HYBRID combines mighty performance with efficiency. Thanks to the high electric range, many everyday journeys can be completed purely electrically.

What surprises me is that the car shifts relatively slowly after you press the paddles, which shouldn't be the case for an AMG

Folding door handles are such a bad idea for winter climates, it would be smarter to have the door auto pop open if they're going to have the fold in door handles. This eliminates not being able to access the vehicle because of frozen door handles

Unfortunately, judging from their latest AMG GT63, it will most likely be overweight, underpowered and shown a clean pair of heels by the Beemers, Audi & Jags...

The residual value isn't going to be good due to the battery replacement price the next owner might have to pay at some point. And that's the "beauty" of hybrids.
These are one-owner disposable cars. I would take a non-hybrid model like E63s any day over any hybrid version. And there's a big delay when you shift gears. AMG went south... Good luck!

Such a shame smaller companies cant compete in this segment...We think this is the best we can get but this are basic cars full of electronics nothing more...Its impressive how guys like Pagani and Christian Koenigsegg showed it can be done much better

Thankfully it's a six...not a four. Not as sonorous as the V8 though. AMG seems to have lost the plot. So many of their cars are underpowered compared with their rivals. Why is the SL63 putting out well under 600 horses in 2024 when its rivals are well over 600? Especially as that engine is available in the AMG GT sedan in 639ps tune! All mouth, no trousers...

the engine is off, when you are in Comfort Mode?
that´s not mine,sry . The electric Engine ist great for the acceleration, but i dont wanna drive just with the electric engine the whole time, if i am driving in C Mode. Usally the C mode is the normal Mode, which the Driver´s are driving the most time. I Think we should better Buy a AMG just with the combustion Engine, or mercedes let start and Drive the vehicle with the Combustion Engine the whole time. The electric engine should only be used for the additional power.
