Hope you don't mind me adding this in. I was at RAF Leuchars for an airshow sometime in the early 90s. Two RAF Phantoms (I think No 74 sqdr) taxied out of the hangars and took off around 10am with full after burners. Immediately as the after burners lit, every car alarm went mental. What a sight and the sound of the afterburners is something unforgettable.
What were these airforce doing? Just practice take offs n landings? How come F35 first takeoff got afterburners but the last take off, afterburners Not seen?
This is like a convoy of Porsche 911 Turbo followed by a Ferrari 458 Followed by Nissan GTR35 Followed by Impreza WRX Followed by a Mercedes-Maybach taking off 🏆 💪 👍 Great video & well worth the effort and sacrifices in making this recording 🥇 🥂
Viva Italia, hopefully they can come to LIMA 2025. Good to see a bunch of people gathering with a love and passion for the jets. Tq for sharing. The sound might not be that solid hearing on my laptop.
