Ver esta hemosa serie china, donde se describe la vida de un emperador con su esposa y concubinas, me hace levantar los ojos al cielo y dar gracias a Jesús porque le quitó al hombre la cruz de demostrar amor a muchas mujeres y también a la mujer le dio la dignidad al enseñar que es una sola mujer que le toca al hombre, ni siquiera les permite divorciarse, sino que eso le permitia Moises porque tenian la mente estacionada en como está Yongli en esta serie. Me agrada en un capítulo que un sacerdote jesuita que hace los retratos de la esposa legítima, le explicó a Ruyi que en occidente o sea Roma, el hombre se casa con una sola mujer, y se permite la separación de cuerpo, mal traducida como divorcio. La foto del emperador con Ruyi después fue destruida por Ruyi porque para Yongli, cuando Ruyi se hizo mayor y los brujos del palacio dijeron que ella era la culpable de que sus hijos se mueran, ya Ruyi no era su esposa sino solo un título, un cargo y Yongli le recalca "que debía obedecer". En el capitulo que Ruyi renuncia a ser emperatriz cortándose el cabello le pregunta "yo queria se emperatriz?". Cuando llega la Princesa de la tribu Han, el se hace pintar el cuadro por el sacerdote jesuita italiano con ella, sin ser emperatriz, es decir, para Yongli ya no era importante Ruyi ni siquiera como emperatriz, ya que se super enamoró de la Princesa de Han e hizo por ella cosas que nunca hizo por Ruyi. Ya no tenia ningún interés por Ruyi, pues aceptó casarse con Yongli porque estaba enamorada y ella creia que Yongli también le amaba, pero vemos que Yongli no puede amar a una sola mujer si los valores en los que fue criado y vive le permiten tener tantas esposas.
