Anja, I love how you mentioned that you get insecure when you have a crush, because I feel the same way. When I’m alone, I’m pretty confident in myself and I don’t tend to compare myself to other women. However, the second I am interested in someone, I find myself feeling self-conscious, insecure, and I compare myself to others a lot more. You’re not the only one

I love how you commented on this video. I feel like most people think about the idea that guys can get insecure about themselves too. it’s the idea that if guys talk about it then they’re seen as weak. It’s important to remember to be aware of what you say to anyone and the idea of insecurities in everyone and the idea that it occurs for everyone. The idea that mostly woman talk about it should be changed, It may help the rate of eating disorders in everyone if people realize that your body doesn’t need to be perfect or the “ideal” body type. And I think you talking about your insecurities ( even if it’s small and doesn’t go in depth) is really important.

Being nude is natural. We just wear clothes to stay warm. Over years it’s become the social norm. People’s used to barely wear clothing if any at all. Some cultures women still don’t wear tops or bras. Nude is natural. And I love that you two ladies made this video for the rest of us women. We love empowered women. 💕👏🏼 The fear of just being human. Well said. We are all given our bodies. Our family genes and history. Or unique DNA. And sadly in today’s society and culture we are afraid to even be. But videos like this. People like us. We can help change it. For our children and theirs. 🥰 You are both beautiful women. Everyone is beautiful. Thank you again for this.

I fully relate to your feelings of insecurities being amplified when you have a crush, and making it feel negative rather than a fun crush. I get so in my head, and start to question if I'm enough, it they won't be attracted to certain parts of me, things I don't usually think about. I pick myself apart and judge me from how someone else could see me, and it makes me dread the feeling of crushes, because it brings out my insecurities and anxiety

I’m still a daily weed smoker and I have been for years and even when I talk to people like literally WHILE we are smoking about how I do experience negative effects from weed (memory, depression, heightened anxiety, appetite issues, lungs feeling shitty, etc.) if I smoke too much or smoke too long without taking a break and I’ll bring up that I need to like cut back or stop and seriously every time people act like I’m demonizing it or like i just can’t hold my smoke or something. Like as stoners people need to be a little more accepting that weed isn’t for everyone, and it’s not just fully healthy with no negative sides. And again, this is coming from someone who’s been smoking multiple times daily for like a few years.

    • @edencraciunescu

And I was a stoner for a few years, every day multiple times a day, blunts bowls bongs, but still had near all the side effects you mentioned over those years. Of course I loved it too, but even in the circles I was in, no one really mentioned their bad experiences which kind of keeps you quiet about yours. The conversations can be had without demonizing either side.. that being said I haven't smoked in a few years now, for other reasons, but I'll always remember those terrifying experiences. They were real.

This was so real. You talking about your insecurities and mental health struggles is so relatable. I was diagnosed w bipolar II and I work hard to talk about it the same as depression and anxiety with openness, regardless of what other people react. Becoming detached is so scary and taboo, but you talking about this is so important. Also vulva fear is something so common it's crazy. I'm glad that this video is out there for young people to find and hopefully learn from :)

I had SUCH A similar experience with weed when I was 16, waaaay too much and I had a panic attack and was hallucinating and it lasted for MONTHS and it also gave me a panic disorder. I’m 30 now, and I have amazing mind over matter that I taught myself in that time.
Thank you for sharing your story. It’s so wonderful to know we are never alone

This video makes me so happy knowing that shes better now and even more confident than the average person being so brave to be painted naked infront of a stranger and even on video infront of thousands of strangers, and its just so refreshing to hear someones story after theyve foumd themselves and gives me and others hope to get better

I actually feel so strong and happy looking at both of your bodies. I feel safe seeing how happy you both are with bodies that are often not considered perfect. I often want to have a better figure, have smaller breasts, or just feel unsafe and uncomfortable in my own skin. But seeing you sitting there appreciating yourselves and appreciating eachother makes me feel so much more comfortable. makes me realize that you can be happy without having a "perfect" body. Love from Mainz, Germany

It's visible through your last videos that you became way more comfortable within yourself. Could you maybe do a video about your healing journey and how you coped with your anxiety? I have been thru similar situations with having panic attacks and having heavy derealisation while smoking weed. Maybe thats even what you have experienced. It induced bad anxiety for me an regular derealisation. I would like too know how you overcame the fear of going crazy because I have that a lot.

Thank you so much for this video, I feel like this is something everyone needs to see when they're feeling insecure. Every body is beautiful and we're sculpted in a way that unique to us.
As someone who only recently started to love her body this type of content would have done 12 year old me so much good. You're an inspiration and have a beautiful soul Anja.
The weed thing with paranoia is something I go through too. When you're feeling panicked just remember you got through it once and you can do it again, I find singing along to music really helps.

Thank you

Wait I have chills… Anja literally had the same experience I did. Mine started in elementary school as well and I also don’t know where or why it came from but probably social media as well. I used to be on RUclips looking for exercise videos as well, mostly for my belly. I remember I would do 3-4 ab workouts in a row. Or after eating I would confuse the feeling of being full or bloated with being fat and I would do a 100 jumping jacks in the bathroom. I always ate healthy though, I just never at junk food. I would eat breakfast lunch and dinner, the meat and veggie, a bunch of fruit, etc. it was always my stomach that I was insecure about, I always wanted it flatter or slightly toned. This insecurity followed me all the way from elementary school 5th grade to one year after graduation. In 2020 I was finally able to break free from it and I love my stomach now, I love the way it looks when I’m standing, when I’m sitting an have a few rolls. I just love the way it looks and appreciate all it does for my body, mechanically as in body function and purpose. I also found that once I stopped exercising that insecurity lessened. Exercising was such a heavy weight on me constantly 24/7 but I hated exercising, I always dreaded it. Even now I’m scared to exercise because I don’t want to fall into that mindset of ‘I’m doing this for physical appearance’. I want it to be for inner appearance and to keep my body active and healthy.

thank you for talking about your experience with weed. a few years i was in an extremely dark place and this random guy on campus offered me weed chocolate and i literally just took it and ate it without even thinking (i was smoking regularly then so i didn't really anything bad was gonna happen) and at first i was completely fine. i went to a lecture and when i got out the weed hit me all of a sudden and i got soo hot and my heart was beating so fast. my friend drove me to the train station and in the car i already started feeling soo paranoid and panicky. and when i was at the train station my friend didn't know what to do bc i was so out of it and i started feeling so sick that she had to ask a stranger to take me to the public restrooms in the station (her shift started so she couldn't take me). i was in there for THREE hours being soo extremely paranoid. i thought everyone was talking about me, i heard voices and i felt so extremely like i was never gonna be in control of my mind again. it was a complete psychotic break and i thought i was dying. i can't even explain it but it was such an out of body experience. when i started feeling less sick i got the train home but i was still paranoid and kept thinking the guy sitting across from me was laughing at me. i didn't leave my house for two days after that and the episode took so long to stop and the worst thing was that the whole experience was so bad that i ended up suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks because i was so afraid i would fall back into that state.
i'm not against weed. but i do think it gets romanticized a lot and i wish more people were aware that these type of things can happen.

Oh my goodness. I’m sorry to hear you experienced that but I’m glad you’ve since overcome it. May God continue to keep you covered from experiences like that. While reading your story, I couldn’t help but wonder if it was possible that the weed chocolate you had may have been laced with something worse than weed. Either way, I think it’s great that you shared this because hopefully it will help others. All the best.

I love this video! I can relate with so much of what you guys were saying! But especially when Anja said that she feels most insecure when she has a crush on someone, I felt that a lot because I’m the same. And it was kind of comforting in a way to hear that because I never heard anyone else around me saying that.. I’m sure we can change that though! :)
