ok..it is good idea.. but the video was just about few words right!? what about those huge laws of Physics and Chemistry and those concepts of Biology? how to work this trick with them? i need help. Please tell me how should i do.

hi im a student strugling to memorise for exams i do psychology at A level. Allthough i do think this memorisation technique is great i dont get how it would or can be aplied to information we have to learn for the exam for example would you have to link a visual aid for every word and if not then how will you be able to construct a sentance or essay from individual memorised words. Please help. Thanks

Holy crap. I was able to remember 8 words verbally, but I was able to remember all 15 words through visual memory with almost no effort. That's amazing! I'm genuinely shocked!!

We just started 3rd grading and exams are already near
That's truly amazing how memory works, with just verbal memory, I honestly couldn't confidently say I would remember even 5 of the words presented. With visual memory, and a connected storyline I was able to work from the first part of the story and memorize all 15 words pretty easily.

Thank you! I purchased the entire series. I've already got the first 20 memorized...very easily. I am also putting tiny pictures representing each element (based on the video series) into a blank periodic table, so I can print it out and study/memorize it without having to watch the videos every time. Such a great help! :)

I have bad memory, and I am very pleasantly surprised that the visual worked to about 80 percent.
I have finally found hope in my long journey of trying to improve my memory.

I had seen this video a month ago and surprisingly, I can still recall all the 15 items in the right sequence.
Verbal - 8, Visual - 15 (Correct Order), embedding the information within a plot, within a story helped a lot. Also, because the plot was a bit absurd, it helped me remember the words even better. Kudos to your creativity! Thank you for sharing this awesome technique with me!

I got distracted when you listed more than 10 words, had a loud ass TV playing Curious George for my baby brother, and my Mom talking to her friends on the speaker phone. Still got 15/15 for Visual Memory which is amazing in comparison to the 6/10 for Verbal Memory.

This just blew my mind! My verbal memory was soooo bad, I got 4! Whereas for Visual I got 15. I ammm soooo going into my next semester at uni with a different study process! Thankyou!

I converted the the words in the verbal memory part into visual memory by linking each other into a story
As a result,I got 10 out of 10 in the verbal memory in the second attempt ..even though it was not really verbal at that point...Amazing vid btw..thanks

He is correct. I only remember 5 words out of the 10 the first time with my verbal memory. Then when I listen to that ridiculous story and visualize everything that was happening. I recalled all 15 events in order.

I managed to score 9/10 in the verbal test. The way I did that was by drawing a story in my head with each new word and then recalling each word by recalling the drawing I did. So, which memory was I exercising there, verbal or visual? 🧐🤯

to be fair when he was saying the words for the verbal, i was picturing an imagine in my head so thats why i got all 10
cool method. I remembered all ten words by repeating all of them in order and continuing to add on the new words to the list. worked like a charm
A picture is worth a thousand words they saw. And a word by itself can be meaningless

This is great, and it works marvellously, but now my issue is with abstract words, how does one visualize an abstract word so we can conceptualize it in our mental story? I'd very much appreciate it if anyone could tell me.

You can use visual memory techniques with numbers, but maths is focused on understanding and problem solving - not memorization.
