The side by side before and after comparisons were fabulous. That took a lot of time editing, because it was over so much "restoration" time = 10 years. Totally fantastic job. When I was a freshman in college way back in 1963 there was one of the "rich kids" that had this vintage Mercedes Benz and all of us guys used to just stand around it and drool. I think it set the stage for me to become a "Mercedes Man." And over the last 45 years my wife and I have owned 17 Mercedes automobiles. You did a beautiful and wonderful job in this restoration. Buenas tardes señores, que hermosa restauración, cuanto trabajo, detalle y amor se aplicó a esa labor. Me trajo recuerdos de mi remota infancia, mi papá tuvo un 170D, yo era muy pequeño cuando lo adquirió y lo tuvo algunos años. Les agradezco que hicieran revivir esas imágenes de mi memoria.

Mi abuela tambien tuvo uno. La unica diferencia era la tapa del baul que tenia la forma de la rueda de auxilio. Magnifico auto. Modelo 1951 y ya tenia la primera sincronizada. Hermosos recuerdos.

Absolutely amazing and such skilled craftmanship, mind blowing. HAs to be one of the best restorations anywhere.
When I was a kid in 75-80 there were many jewel forbbiden mercedes..such as w114 coupe,w126 etc..but difficult to have them now coz the collectors already understand how jewel Mercedes 😀❤️

Absolute brilliant and fantastic restoration. I would have liked a few notes in some of the pictures listing what was done, paints used etc. Also have a short video sound of the engine running.

Maybe that it was before war it worthed 350 k... But the amonut of work on it is equal with the love and tlc for each of these cars.

I remember these as a child in Tehran in the early 60s. They were used as Taxis They were all black with red leather interior. After the Islamists took over, Germans came and bought everyone of these they could find and took them back to Germany.
