- In this video we take a look at a new replica that I've recently added to the collection. Here we unbox and take a look around the JG MAC 10 AEP.
This AEP is affordable and certainly different. I don't recall seeing a MAC 10 replica on my local field. I am hoping to make a project out of this replica and over time improve its performance. There will be more videos covering this in the future.
In the meantime if you fancy an unusual SMG for your Airsoft skirmishes then this could be the AEP for you.

Howdy! Just got one of the export versions of these with a metal outer barrel and was wondering how those upgrades came along? As far as I know AEPs are tricky to upgrade, aside from simple lipo mods,, thanks for the unboxing vid!
Oh also! Have you looked into any real steel parts compatability? I know in the UK it's probably harder to get those but, I've seen some front rail adapters and stock options around.
Hi, so far I haven't got a lot to report on the mac 10. I have used a TM lipo adapter to change to micro lipo batteries and that's about it. I haven't done anything with it yet. I have plans just not got to it yet. From the research I've been doing they are, like you said, very tricky to upgrade. I'm still going to give it a go though. I always end up with to many projects on the go at once😀. I will hopefully get a video up about upgrades this new year though.
I haven't looked into real steel options. As you said, tricky to get hold of here in the UK. But if you manage any, let me know how it goes. I imagine it will look awesome.
@Rock Bottom Airsoft I will let you know when I get one of the rail adapters in,, I've seen some HPA mods for AEPs before, but if I remember correctly its mostly a kit made for an mp7 that people have made 3dprint chasis for other aeps. How long to charge standard battery cheers
Would it be good as a sniper support?
Apologies for late response. Possibly it could. Personally I think it might be a bit bulky due to the boxy nature of the Mac. However it's got good range and capacity. If you could find a good way to sling it then it would be good.

Are there any airsoft MAC 10's on the market, that have metal bodies at all?
Hi. You would be looking at GBB if your after a metal body. I'm not aware of an AEG that has a metal body.

They should be. The MAC 11 is usually easier to get hold of. It looks very similar. I believe KWC would be the go to.
How did you pull the bolt ? Do I have to push it down ?
You twist it, 1/4 turn and then you can pull it back to access the hop.

Do this gun take .20 bbs or another type
Hi. It's 6mm airsoft bbs. With regard to weight I was running it on .25 and it lifted those fine. You could try heavier weights but .20 will work fine as well.

Yes, it comes with an AEP style battery and charger.

Does here exist mac 1p with co2 or green gas?
As far as I know there isn't a Gas based MAC 10. However there is a green gas MAC 11 produced by KWA. I haven't had a chance to use one myself but it looks awesome. The rate of fire is crazy.

How long to charge standard battery
Standard battery is simple to swap in and out. Its bespoke and so is designed for easy change over. You could do it in the field if need be.

@@rockbottomairsoft thanks a meant to write charge battery and my Mac 10 only fire when upside down with only the 200 bbs you get with gun winding up the mag only fire out about 6 or 7 bbs then stops can you help it’s Brad new and am new to this cheers
@ianjohnston1391 The standard battery with the included charger is a bit of a guessing game as its not a smart charger. I think I charged mine for about 4 hours. The issue your having sounds mag related. I know you probably have, but make sure that the high cap is wound up enough. Should wind till the bb's are at the feed lips and then a couple more winds. Hopefully that will sort it. Failing that if it fires upside down try winding the hop up off a bit, if it's fully off then wind it on a bit.
