I moved to Austin Texas in 1974 with my girlfriend and we moved in with my cousin Phil, we were into Led Zeppelin and hard rock , Phil loved Willie and Jerry Jeff , he loved Jerry Garcia, anyway Phil would go see Willie at the Austin Oprt House and The Armadillo World Headquarters, he would call me up and beg me to come and see Willie and I never went, I have been kicking myself in the butt for years, I love Willie , a national treasure
@@sharonvance4460 The video shows Mickey Raphael singing at 2:45.. That's what I was referring to. I apologize for not being clear on my first comment.
@@barbc1638 You are exactly right! I rewatched it- My apologies! I had never really seen Mickey sing before... For personal reasons, I was a Jody fan before I was a Willie fan😊 Thanks for the correction & comment.
@@1971Tobbe Jody Payne on Guitar, Mickey Raphael in harmonica, Bee Spears on bass and Paul English on drums. Bobbie Nelson (piano) must not have been there. She usually got a solo during this song.
Trigger was just a young lad here
