I have two boxes of washi tape, and omg, i can't even tell you how many napkins...guessing about 50 packs. no i'm not exaggerating!!! Crazy. I have also made a promise to STOP buying stuff.... and use what I have. Add to this, I have collected lots of lace, seam binding, bits of materials, doilies, etc.... ever since I discovered JJ and papercrafting about two years ago, I kind of lost my mind (or saved it!, LOL).... Thank you for your joyful channel! You are my favourite person to watch!!! Unique ideas and your style is so reassuring, because you have so much fun, and you show us you don't have to be perfect. It's the whole joy of papercrafting to me....playing!!!
Cracks me up when you are excited about being near 10K followers and as I'm watching this you're near 63K followers! You're amazing! Guess that's what happens when you share such creative and easy to understand and fun ideas!!
And here I am watching it 3 years later and Pam, you're at 151K!! I really enjoy your videos and I think I've watched a lot, however, with your playlist, it's really only a small percentage that I have watched. :)
😳 Wowza!! That’s a LOT of napkins!! I’ll happily buy one of each off ya 😂😂. Small town here - limited napkin supply 😢 Am just now discovering journals - so am making my first few, and building my supply of “already done ephemerals”
Perfect gift to make for my high school ladies I get together with every month! (We go back more than 50 years...what??? )They will love these practical and beautiful pouches. Thanks Pam.
I really do like your tutorials, you just move along and get it done. When you talk it's about the tutorial or it's fun silly talk. I have listened to a lot of tutorials and people just blather on and it has nothing to do with the project. You're the best, thanks.
You would think as many of these junk mail and book page videos as I have watched that so would be tired of watching them. BUT NOOOOOO !! I just love how you always seem to have another fabulous idea !! Please don't stop !! I have gone back after watching and made so many pretty things you have taught me. Thank you so much !!! Keep them coming !!!
Loving this video session. I’m laying in bed, it’s 12:26 AM and laughing out loud. I love the things you do. Saving things from the landfills and creating useful and artistic things. These would be great for coupons, journaling or tucking a gift card in for a friend.
This is a fantastic idea, great use of what we have. My husband even saves things for me to craft with now. So very grateful you share your ideas and talent with all of us. Lots of ways to use these pouches come to mind. Thanks so much!
Eggggggs-cellent! You have this uncanny ability to home in on the very things I am drowning in. Witness: envelopes, washi, napkins, and book pages. This is genius for using up all four at the same time. Especially love the book page inside. Adds strength, heft, and beauty in one go. You're on a roll! ~ Lisa
I love your creative idea. I can teach my two teenagers how to do your creative project. Colorful and difinitely inspirational. Thank you for sharing this RUclips Video. Perfect activity for a rainy inside day.
Brilliant trick right at the beginning. Loved the project too. I have a 5-year-old (almost 6) granddaughter who wants to start making books and scrap booking. All because I showed her a fancy corner punch lol ♥
🙏Praying you're feeling better soon. Having bronchial asthma, the change in weather does this to me almost everyday😞 Love your projects & 2 of my grandbabies just love 'let's find Mrs. Pam & Holly & company' videos!!
Never wanted junk mail now I look forward to to seeing junk mail and I get sad when I have none come in the mail . My partner thinks I am a nut lol. Fluffy hugs to you my dear.
Oh wow! The tape trick...That is genius! I avoid napkins because of fighting them, now I don't have to any longer! I'm so glad that you share your talents. Thank you so much!
I love watching you.... besides the FANTABULOUS ideas --- You don't talk to your viewers like we are stupid. hahha! Thanks for the great vids and fun times!
Hi Pam, these turned out great . I have tons of envelopes and napkins. So this is perfect timing. You are always so upbeat and so much fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your time with us this year. Wishing you a very happy new year. 😃
thank you so much for this entertaining and informative video!! My arthritic fingers have a hard time with napkin separations and now I am confident that I can do it EVERY time..so quick and easy!! I love your 'tape trick'...So many of my mailings come with a returnable envelope so those are the ones I have been saving...and so this week I will begin!! I love your spirit and encouragement...thank you again!!
This is an awesome idea! I asked my little old aunt to save envelopes for me. She religiously gives me a big pile every 2 weeks. I don't have the heart to tell her to stop, that I have enough lol This will be a great way to use up those and my napkins.
Great pouch video and ideas for using up what we have. Not only do I have my "collection" but my Mother-in-law's. She had a thing for Stationery, cards and envelopes so I got boxes full when I helped clean out her house. Good thing she never discovered Washi tape- Ha!
Oh yes! I have a huge box of washi tape! Sticking it to napkin sounds like a great way to use it up without having to take the extra step of putting glue down first! I saw a video somewhere of a crafter putting in a real zipper. I think I want to try your method first! lol
I use an envelope, unadorned, covered with packing tape for strength, to put store coupons in it, in my purse. Now I need to make an adorned one! I may still laminate it or cover with packing tape.
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos...I feel as though I am there with you making stuff...you are fun to watch and listen to and I have learned so much from you...I find myself running inyo craft room and making what you have taught and is so much fun....thanks for sharing all this funness with us..
I love this! I made several pouches using my favorite cocktail napkins. I used pretty magazine pictures for the inserts then I put washi tape all around the edges for added reinforcement and to cover the raw edges. I sealed the outer napkin surfaces with modge podge for some extra protection. It gave the pouch a nice texture. I plan to use some of the pouches to hold grocery coupons and receipts. Thank you for the fun and inspiration you share with us!
Finally something worthwhile for all those ULINE catalogs that come in -- a glue surface! Thanks for sharing your ideas with this community. Looking forward to going watching more of your videos!
I love this idea! And also -- I appreciate you leaving your "boo-boo" in the video. We all make them and its helpful to see how you work through them and repair the mistakes to preserve the use of what your making. Love it!
Pam... OMG, happened across this one. My friend Anita and I have hundreds of napkins as we've done napkin art for the last few years. We join you in this serious napkin issue. This is a great idea! And so easy to do... and all those envelopes that I throw out... not any more! And, tearing the multiply pieces off... thank you! I've dealt with the edges. You are a gem showing us these great tricks. Thanks I really enjoyed seeing this. Rosemary
Learnt two new things. Loving the glue book idea, just turn that page to avoid the glue and snip the washie to fold the edges. Wow.so simple but blowing my mind. Ha ha.
Okay I’ve got to make these. I use plastic envelopes to sort my paper scraps and small ephemera for my art journalling. These would be so much prettier and more fun! TFS
Great ideas. We save the layers of napkins to use at the table. :) And baby wipes for clean up. Baby wipes can be washed and used over and over again too. Just wash, dry and re-wet when needed used in art projects.
The Paper Outpost I live in a rural area so I don’t get the volume of junk mail most people do. I’m have my 84 year old mom save hers for me! I love the postcard size pieces the most😊
I think a lot of people have “Late night itchy trigger finger:” . The nice thing about it are the surprises you get in the post,, the kind of Mail.that makes your day. Well most times, sometimes you wonder why you ordered that, hmmmmm. Well thanks for sharing and Happy New Year, Hugs Joy, Spain
