Excellent video guys - As ever! Oh and.... that Quickwire looks pretty impressive too ;)
Thanks Quickwire, we love the connector!
To be totally equal Quickwire has a learning curve that I didn't expect that it did. I purchased it at the ELEX show with the idea that it would increase the speed off install and also as (DavidSaveryElectrical) said in a video the convert ceiling roses to newer types fittings.
The stripper is not worth the money it is being sold for and advertised a simple CK one for about £10-£15
I'm affried that sometime's the connection don't meet. And you need really make sure you push them in slowly untill it grips on the twin and earth then hear the click. As you can tell the furtration when you turn everything on and multiple lights are not working. Even when secure I have found sometimes these still didn't meet. Finding these in the ceiling after thinking o yes mateinance free can stick them in inaccessible area. Please install with caution and care this has been my experience and I bought a load of them to give a fair feed back.
Hopefully this didn't sound like a rant and you make your own opinion about them just wanted to say my piece I will be sending the evidence to Quickwire also
All always thanks guys all the best
Great video Gaz and Joe 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the comment!
Another Great video Gaz and Joe 👍
Thanks for the comment!
I think this is one of the funniest time challenges you have done. Cracking product. They are in the final throws of doing a 2.5mm version which is great news.
Love quickwire, used the product lately for a large job I had, fantastic product 👍
We loved it. Thanks for joining us on our new venture David!
You guys look SO much better in red !!
We do 😉
Great team you two. Excellent!
Thanks Keith, stay tuned for more!
love these things...used them on several jobs. bit too expensive for me to use on a regular bases but dam they are good
Thanks for the comment!
I'll be honest, that was quite funny. I was lol but I wasn't expecting too! Good vid.
Glad you enjoyed it, we had a laugh making it too.
I've tried the @Quickwire T-Connector plug & sockets on my dining room downlights just to experiment with them. Unbelievably quick !! and great quality. I don't do a lot of downlighters, but if I did I wouldn't hesitate but to use these. Not only fast fitting, if you fit a T-Connector plug to a breakout lead they are quick and easy to test, both dead & live tests.
welcome to the future.....sparks might even drop ring circuit installs one day soon too......
Nice one lads 👍👍
Thanks for commenting Richard and thanks for following our new venture!
Gaz the knife slowed you down some what if you had just used the side cutters you would have a better chance 🤣 but the quickwire is a fantastic bit of kit
Fantastic video guy’s as always 👍👍👍👍❤️
Not bad. Did I see you not put or need a cover on the earth wire. ?
Brilliant....
How can I send my products to you to have a test?
With a cup of tea it made me laugh
It's like a channel for commercials only, but somehow the commercials are interesting and practical hmmm 🤷♂️
WOW!!
It's a great product eh?
So all that's new is the connection!, the tool has been around for over a year that I'm aware off especially in the states, I think wago in a maintenance free box is cheaper and almost as quick.
I can see these being better in commercial buildings like tesco who have their own maintenance teams who are stretched for time and need to change out lights quick.
It's good to have a range of options eh Sean? Thanks for the comment!
efixx it is indeed! Just need to get pricing right as its spiraling and I don't think to many customers are going to go for it!
A brilliant product... I wish they were a little cheaper and more widely available, the closest distributor to me is in Fulham, that's 10.5 miles away from me.
Hopefully with greater demand comes lower manufacturing costs Alvin so maybe we'll see that in the future.
Quickwire is the business!
We love them, thanks for the comment Kevin!
It amazes me the difference in wiring techniques between the UK and US.
it amazes us also - we still don't get wire nuts 😀
Are the collage ok with the new channel i love the videos keep them up please a*
Thanks Nathan, we will, much more to come!
Gary got destroyed 😂😂😂
He sure did 🤣
It’s been over a month!
Worth the wait though Connor eh?
